This whole thing technically cost nothing to make as I only used materials I already had at home. There are a lot of imperfections but I'm happy enough with it overall (I even like the wrinkling in the ears resembling that of a real 1998 furby, it was completely unintentional). I threw this thing together really quickly too I think.

Number one struggle as a furby enjoyer/collector

Well, nobody stopped me or anything, so I customized my new 2005. And I'm honestly really happy with the result! The highlights, the extra fluffy belly, the black nails (that you can barely even see lol), I think it all works really well. He shall now be known as Moonlight!

Also the German version is very different from the English one. I thought they'd try to stay as close to the English version as possible like they tend to do with the other eras, but no, the lyrics to his song (both in Furbish and in German) are different, he has a very different laugh when tickled, purr when petted etc. He even has an entirely different feature - instead of telling jokes, he essentially does the 2023's "magic furball" mode! I have quite a few non-English furbs now, but this has to be the most unique one.

Another new furb just arrived!

Probably the last one for a good while haha. But what a beautiful creature for the relatively low price I paid. Beak intact, feet in place, fur looking really clean, battery compartment undamaged - I've seen these furbs for the same price or more in WAY worse shape. And he works! And speaks German! I didn't even know there were German 2005s.

Do I dare customize him or is that sacrilegious to do to a 2005...? I quite like the grey fur, but I might change the belly and hair to black with blue highlights, and give him a tail as well. I'll hold off on naming him until I decide on whether to customize him or not. (I REALLY want to ngl)

Crusty Boi is not so crusty anymore!

If anyone has a better name for this furb, do let me know. And look how pretty they turned out! Even the shell under the fur was filthy... I also noticed while cleaning that the face plate is a bit sun damaged but that's okay, I don't think it's super obvious.

Okay this is DEFINITELY the filthiest furby I've ever gotten. Seller didn't even know if they work or not (they do!), but this one was calling to me anyway because somewhere underneath all the crust is a beautiful Tie Dye that's been on my wishlist for ages. It'll be a lot of fun restoring them! In terms of names I've got absolutely nothing, I've just been calling them Crusty Boi and that might honestly stick.
