Inspired by the blog @parapride! This is a blog for para pride, specifically intended to be a safe space for (bodily/chrono) youth who are paraphiles.

This blog is run by a bodily teenage objectophile shapeshifterkin! My pronouns are it/they/he/she + any neos, and I prefer masc, neutral, or nonhuman terms.

Here at youthparapride, we believe:

There is no such thing as a thought crime

Being a paraphile is not a negative thing, nor is it something to be ashamed of

There is no such thing as a “harmful” paraphilia, and being a paraphile doesn’t mean you’ll commit a crime, even if you’re one of the “big three” (pedophile/MAP, zoophile, necrophile)

Minors can be paraphiles, and deserve a space to discuss their attraction without shame

Abuse is never okay, and (chrono/bodily) minors, theriform animals, and the physically dead can’t consent to sexual activity with (chrono/bodily) adults, non-theriform animals + humans, or the physically living

Engaging with a paraphilia through fiction is not inherently harmful, and is not the same as “acting on it” or offending

Wondering if you’re safe here? This blog is safe for all queer people, including those with “contradictory” labels, xenogenders, and neopronouns. It’s also safe for plurals of all origins, alterhumans of all kinds, and anyone with non-harmful transIDs.

This blog is *not* safe for bigots, all radfems, exclusionists, people who are “radnormal” or identify with adjacent terms, anti-endos/willos, etc etc. Also, obviously, paramisics. You will be blocked if I see that these are your beliefs (eg: if you want to interact with this blog and you have these beliefs, don’t share them here. I won’t check every blog that interacts or follows me though).

If you are radqueer or adjacent you may interact but be aware that I don’t support *many* radqueer beliefs. I am saying this because I believe even if you are a part of these groups you deserve to be supported and treated with kindness. Everyone does. But I especially want to point this out to radqueers because I know many of you are paraphilic youth and I know how difficult that must be. I want to provide you with a space that is genuinely supportive and respectful.

So this is like pretty sensitive content so if mention of grooming triggers anyone, please don't read this.

So, I'm sick and tired that people are stupid, that people don't understand minors can have MADIR paras and that being neu leaning pro para doesn't mean you are being groomed.

In the past couple of days I have been accused of being groomed by a friend i met way after i started posting pro para content or engaging with pro para content just because we share a stance. Said person tried to reason after my friend gave them good valid points why they arent grooming me and why MADIR paras aren't always bad by saying all the stuff my friend said they (the person) experienced differently and so it isn't valid. Like wtf?? Just because you experienced stuff differently in the para community don't mean we experience it the same way.

It sucks being a minor who is also MADIR.

That sucks. The way that people are so quick to jump to “you must be being groomed!” When you’re a minor MADIR paraphile (or, in my experience, even a minor who supports MADIR paraphiles) is just wild. People don’t want to listen to us, they don’t want to believe we can understand what we’re saying, so they think someone else had to have told us to think this way. Ultimately it comes down to both paramisia and ageism. So sorry that’s happening to you <3

i feel like the paraphile community doesnt really understand what anti-contact means.

for one, "contact" in the community means sexual and or romantic contact" and doesnt say anything about other relationships (zoos having pets, MAPs having kids, etc)

No, it doesnt mean big 3 paraphiles cant roleplay. consensual roleplay is not a form of harmful contact.

a zoophile engaging in petplay with their partner is not pro contact . same with a MAP and ageplay , a biastophile in rapeplay, etc. those are all forms of consensual roleplay (given the individuals partaking it are of age / similar age) , therefore it is NOT pro contact.

dualcom: someone who does both ageplay and age regression, whether its separately or at the same time.

I’m probably not the first to say this, but I believe there is a relatively large nazism problem within the paraphile community.

Due to less general paraphile acceptance, I believe it has led many into spaces that are accepting of paraphilias at the cost of those spaces being accepting of or even displaying themselves as nazis (whether it be genuine or an attempt to be “edgy” neither is okay).

I think the recent growth of spaces that don’t accept nazism is good, but we cannot forget that there are those bad spaces within the community, and we have to make sure they aren’t the loudest parts.

I’m anti-contact. I don’t consider myself NO-ACT but idrc if NO-ACT folks interact because I don’t consider them to be anywhere near as bad as pro-contacts. Though I do believe that consang and corpse desecration are both extremely bad ideas and don’t support them. Consang because of the reasons you can find here and corpse desecration because of the disease risk and the fact that somebody who is physically dead can’t revoke consent.

the only good -queer term I've ever stumbled across is shimmerqueer, but there are so many -queer terms I feel like most of them or at least most of the pro-c ones were made so predators can hide the fact that they're predators because most people don't know what on earth the terms mean

honestly I think the -queer labels are either redundant or counterproductive. Like the term "radqueer" for instance. Calling yourself Queer is already meant to be radical because that was a slur for the longest time. It's like a cleaner and less specific way of calling yourself a faggot or a tranny. You don't really get a sense of what this person's whole deal is you just know they're aligning themselves with these groups and participating in them in some way.

Then you get into these other queer labels like "cleanqueer" which are pretty much the opposite of why a person would call themself Queer. If you say to someone that you're Queer you're essentially saying "none of your business." It's the original "if you have a dni assume I'm everything on the list." You're not meant to discern what a person believes when they call themself Queer other than that they are radically accepting and countercultural.

I don't think -queer terms understand what Queer means. I think when they think of the word queer they think it just means a specific aesthetic of lgbtq+. I think they're assigning an aesthetic to the term Queer and then breaking it into pieces like types of aesthetics on pinterest.

Some advice for things to watch out for on tumblr as a minor paraphile!

People who use terms that end in -queer or start with rad- (radqueer, cleanqueer, radnormal, etc) : these people are almost always discourse obsessed, in the case of radqueers and adjacents they often have very bigoted beliefs about race and disability, and adults in those communities are often seeking to abuse children. Non-radqueers that use these terms are usually ableist, paramisic, anti-endo, etc and also tend to harass others. They may also attempt to shame you into behaving the way they want you to. People in both these groups are only seeking to gain control over the behaviors of others and both groups are toxic.

People who are anything but anti-contact are a threat to you. Try to report them if you can. There is no reason to be anything but anti-contact as all it means is that you are against abuse.

People who talk negatively about kinks are usually also paramisic

Stay away from shipping discourse if you can, both sides are extremely toxic towards paraphiles and ableist

Report anyone who contacts you asking if you are interested in “real shotas/lolis/etc”. They are attempting to show you CSAM. Similarly report people who send or attempt to send you real life gore.
