The thoughts raced through his mind and he just stared at the wolf, eyes glazed over and recognizing him only by the pungent odor of dog. He lurches forward, he knows he’s not strong enough to take the wolf. Even with fresh blood in his veins, he wouldn’t be strong enough to take the wolf. He’s just pretty.

The words rolled off his tongue, every vowel elongated,
painted with utmost sarcasm. So he's a pretty
princess too. Yifan rolled his eyes and scoffed.

Oh but it was obvious. Everything about him, every
patch of skin of his looked like it was painted with
but dreams of freedom, roses, and all those things that
died in the light, under the stars that the likes of him
worship. All pretty things die. Every butterfly wing
breaks apart and turns right back to dust. He didn't need
people like Alice to fill Luhan's head up with far-fetched
dreams that lay waste and die in the silver blood of the
moon.
Who was this pompous piece of garbage who
dared to intervene, dared to ruin Luhan's chances of
success. Luhan might spite him now, but one day
Luhan will thank him. One day -- when the monster
gives up and lets him go. But in the mean time...
