It was easy to hang around Chunji, especially because he said it all - he was slow at noticing things. Jaeseop had another opinion about it, it felt more like his friend was discreet about it, he didn't point things out until he was absolutely sure regarding the issue, and that made the mutant's life easier. Knowing the whole fiasco with Minsoo, it was even refreshing to know that at least someone didn't hold expectations nor wasn't going to point fingers at him because everything went bad.
Biting his own croissant, he let out a comfortable and muffled sound that reminded of a moan because the pastry did taste delicious and he was glad to have picked that place for both of them to be having that kind of conversation. The question coming from the younger mutant was understanding and even though it still hurt a little when he thought about it, it was better to talk than to ignore it.
"Getting better. I'm not going to lie to you and say I didn't hold high expectations about us." He started, paying reference to himself and Minsoo; his eyes glanced to the other's food and he smiled, cleaning his mouth with a napkin before continuing. "But the reality check is being nice, better. Getting out was the best that happened, even though I do miss the time we all spent together."
But as soon as the conversation started, it was changed to a much lighter subject, the fact that now he was eating a piece of Chunji's dessert and approving the taste of it was making things easier. One more time he just chuckled at his friend's reaction to the touching and it was funny because most if them hated to be treated like kids and Jaeseop had fun by doing exactly that.
It was good to know some things wouldn't change.
"Oh, I see. You're going to send your stalker clones to me, I see. But you gotta find me first." He warned, lightly elbowing the younger's side. "I'm thinking about joining the Brotherhood. It's a family tradition I believe."

Hyosung walked in the lobby first, not really expecting anything other than a nice break with an old friend. For a moment she wondered about his family but quickly put it out of her head as he spoke again. “No, I don’t mind actually. I like being inside- the less I’m seen around this building the better. don’t want people to find me easily.” She waited as he walked in after and looked over at him
The elevator made a noise as it arrived and the doors opened, letting people step out. Hyosung didn’t answer his question when there were people around and stepped into the elevator and holding the door for Jaeseop. It wasn’t until the elevator doors closed that she answered his questions. “Yes, she’s a mutant as well.” she said. She had thought earlier that she would elaborate but decided against it unless she was asked.
"Oh, at least we have the same concerns then." He pointed out with a smile as he opened the elevator's door to her, so they could climb up to his floor. At least something was right - she held the same concern he did about his location and it was good. Maybe he was wrong about her making a deal some place so close to home. Still, he was no fool and kept a silence until they reached his own floor.
Once they were in his own territory, the entire floor had been bought by him and turned into this big loft, he walked beside the woman until they were in front of the big metal door that would lead them inside. The silence felt comfortable enough between the two of them, even after Hyosung talked about her baby. With a short but curious nod, he glanced back at her, before opening the door. "It must be interesting to take care of someone so small that holds some power." With a cringing noise, he dragged the heavy door opened. "Be my guest."
{ move in , breathe out ;
“Hey! You!” Kwon said and lightly tapped the other on his shoulder, “You should help me out here and move these boxes upstairs … with me.”
Cocky.
That was probably the first thought crossing Jaeseop's mind when he heard the voice that morning, calling his attention when he was just coming back from some jogging around the park nearby. Even though the mutant hated the training, he admitted to himself he should be more committed to things like that, now that he was no longer part of a gang and had all the privileges because its leader was one of his best friends.
So yeah, he started with jogging and then push ups and boxing inside the loft, that now held a gym wing, but that morning in particular, he decided to skip his routine and just rely on the jogging. It had been a nice weather outside so he stretched his work out time a little more.
Too bad for him because he had just found out someone was now moving in the building. Of all buildings Jeju held, Jaeseop was still intrigued why people chose that one. It wasn't the fanciest of them all and the apartments were spacious but didn't hold the best location. It was a quiet neighborhood but they could often find gangs fighting for that territory - one of the reasons why he decided to move back there, just to keep an outside eye on the Colossus area.
Again, he couldn't understand.
Taking a look at the male, who had just touched his shoulder, Jaeseop held back the urge of smirking because now the lobby was being flooded by boxes and there was no way that thin little man could take everything up.
Still, he was cocky.
"Oh, really?" He asked, adjusting his sunglasses and crossing his arms. "Tell me why is that, Mr...?"
