(/really he has a difficult time saying that he holds a particular fondness towards the school. it hasn’t done much for him nor has he done much for it- it made an easy escape route, somewhere to hide away and live the rest of his life without looking over his shoulder, but he could have found that in any country really. however, honesty is not always the best policy. he doesn’t want jiyoon to hate him anymore than she has to- it isn’t smart to openly make enemies, but he doesn’t want to completely trash the place he lives either. decisions, decisions. after a moment he shrugs noncommittally) I don’t see the point in hating everyone. I don’t hate the mutants in hiding, the ones who want to coexist, or the ones who want to burn everything to the ground. I certainly don’t hate the humans who wants to stop them. (/smirks a little, examining the table idly- not because he’s nervous, but because his eyes don’t really have anywhere else to look. the attempts at overthrowing each alliance don’t concern him much- petty crimes that he’s moved far beyond. there are bigger things in life than who hates what opinion) Maybe I hate everyone equally. At least at the institute I get paid for doing it.
Ah— /chuckles somewhat dryly at his response/ I suppose when you put it that way. Hate is a strong word. Denotes some kind of attachment, or importance really. That's the worst part of hate. Letting someone else control a part of you. Don't you think? Everything that comes with hate. The way even your body reacts to seeing that person or thing or group... It's a rather strong effect. Seems a shame to waste it on anyone. /isn't really the best person to speak of hate when she holds so much herself or at least did— her attempts to rid herself of it weren't as solid as she wished but they existed. that wasn't something, wasn't it?/ but anyway—do you really hate them? I doubt it. What is your opinion of them if you don't hate them? You seem more of the neutral type, or the pretending to be neutral because vocalizing any damn opinion seems to get you trapped in type of drama or conflict in this society. To be honest, I would probably be the last option if there weren't other... circumstances in this world. /can't help but smirk a little because her circumstances are far from normal but that's the point of the ongoing "war," that mutants were not normal and it just wouldn't die down/ I guess payment is a good reason. If money is an issue. Do you have limitations when it comes to that? /quirks a brow, not necessarily going where it seems like she is with that question but she lets the assumption linger in the question/
