diabolicdallas:
“i still make you weak in the knees after all this time?” dallas attempted to lighten the mood again but knew what she really wanted was an answer. he admired her bluntness. it was one of the reasons he really enjoyed having vanessa around. “you’re not forcing me to do anything,” he assured maybe a little too firmly as he stared back into her dark orbs. “may i walk my girlfriend to class and meet up with her later. as planned?” the pain that he read on vanessa’s face made hockey practice worth skipping. that didn’t seem like much to the average joe but this was the most important year for mike.
“everyone should be with someone that when they look at them it’s like the first time all over again,” vanessa spoke, her eyes gazing over in dreamlike manner. sure she had some fairytale way of thinking about relationships, but what was so wrong with that? doesn’t everyone deserve a happy ending, vanessa sure believed she did. vanessa jumped back a bit at the firmness in his voice, not used to that sternness being directed her way. she paused allowing herself to calm down before nodding slowly. “y-yeah, i’d like that,” vanessa grinned.
