Okay. But can you imagine Poe witnessing Rey doing the Jedi mind trick thing, and being in a sticky situation at a later point and just thinking Kriff, it, why not. No other options so I may as well give this a try.

Then, the dumbass waves his hand mysteriously and says “You don’t need to see my identification”.

He’s never seen a less impressed helmet. “What?”

Poe, nodding and smiling, like the hopeful cutie he is, his eyebrow arcing up: “You’re happy I’m here”.

And then he just gets clocked around the head by a stormtrooper and puts that idea to bed forever.

sicktember 13: “faking it + appendicitis”

Fandom(s): Star Wars sequel trilogy. Finn and Rey are both training to be Jedi. They go on adventures with Poe. Everything’s fine. 

I’ve written appendicitis before, so I paired it with the ‘faking it’ prompt for some humour. 

“faking it + appendicitis”

Finn has resigned himself to not getting out of the cell when Poe suddenly snaps his fingers and says, “I have an idea. Just follow my lead.”

              The words come as a relief. There is nothing Finn would love more than a plan, and as wild, as over-the-top, as explosive as Poe’s plans can be, they’re effective, and have thus far only proven successful. So Finn nods, and he stops trying to use the Force against the bars (which are made of something that repels it anyways), and he waits for Poe’s lead.

              Poe smirks at him, winks. He shoves his hands against his abdomen and throws himself onto the ground while screaming bloody murder. “Help me! HELP ME!” he’s screaming. “It’s my appendix! It’s bursting!”
