Out of all of the things I design, what I love most is making things that incorporate patterns from doilies, table cloths, bead spreads, etc I see in the homes I visit. This top is inspired by a couch throw I photographed in my  grandma's sister's house. She passed away not too long ago but here I am bringing her creations back to life- and I think it's exactly this 'rebirth' of the old into something new that I love so much.
