I just want to note the difference in Samira’s facial expression in the two clips. When Robby calls her over she’s at ease and perhaps happy to take some advice from Robby regarding her post-residency. But then she realizes he’s just there to be a constant reminder of her Slo-Mo nickname and her face just falls. Robby meet my fist.

I'm really not looking to start a fight here but honestly some of you guys in this fandom are really taking away my enjoyment of this show. The way so many people (on all sides of the debates) are so quick to forgive certain transgressions but vilify others is a bit disturbing. Especially since these are well written characters meant to have flaws and personalities that represent things real people go through. Particularly the way people have been responding to Santos's sh. You guys can be critical of her actions and any character's actions all you want but be careful about the way you vilify certain things to prove your argument about your favorite characters. There could be people out there reading this stuff that relate to things she goes through (or any of the characters, this goes for langdon as well, before anyone says it). The show is fake but the things they go through are things real people relate to.

#the pitt #I just don't appreciate how people are so understanding of langdon and can justify and forgive all of his actions #but when it comes to Santos and her potential mental illness which is really mostly only in subtext at this point so it's mostly assumption #when it comes to her people are so harsh and it is upsetting as her character is very real and she reminds me of people I know #people that are kind but have a very hard time connecting and constantly feel the need to push people away out of fear #obviously again a lot of her issues are subtext but the way she is written is very real and the way people talk about her is very dismissive #people need to be careful and remember that they are actually shitting on the real people that see themselves in these characters #trinity santos #dr santos
