The 3rd edition of Xarel·lada in Cunit, is held by the seaside with the objective to promote and spread the good word about Xarel·lo wine. It’s also an attempt for the local municipality of Cunit to reclaim its agricultura past and it’s modern condition as the maritime coast of the D.O Penedès.
A tasting of Xarel·los will be held on the esplanade, between the streets Les Sorres and Amílcar Barca on the 27th of June.
The xarel·lo summit, a Xarel·lo Day of exception, the grape's G-30 in support of the grape is to be celebrated in the Penedès. An occasion for championing the Xarel·lo with presentations and tasting great wines.

La cimera del Xarel.lo, és una trobada que es durà a terme el proper dia 29 de juny de 17 a 22h en l’incomparable marc de l’Ermita de Foix, ubicada al terme municipal de Torrelles de Foix, una de les parts més elavades de la comarca de l’Alt Penedès, que ens ofereix unes excepcionals vistes de 360º sobre tot aquest territori vitivinícola.
Es tracta d’un esdeveniment que té l’objectiu de mostrar el gran potencial del Xarel.lo, de la mà dels 30 elaboradors arribats de tots els racons del territori, qe mitjançant el format de showroom, oferiran la possibilitat de degustar els seus vins elaborats amb aquesta varietat.
La Cimera del Xarel.lo, és una oportunitat única per a tots aquells professionals del vi, que desitgen conèixer tot el seu potencial, així com les seves interpretacions, ja que s’hi podran trobar tot tipus d’interpretacions, vins tranquils, vins naturals, vins escumosos elaborats pel mètode tradicional, vins escumosos ancestrals, vins dolços, ja sigui de les anyades actuals, així com collites d’anys anteriors que només podreu trobar en aquest esdeveniment.

Penedès terroir championed at the Mediterranean Fine Wine Encounter
The event hosted by Decanter events this weekend seeks to present the unique diversity of wines many wine producing countries around the Mediterranean.
Responding to the first edition by decanter to highlight this diversity, this will be a unique context to discover distinct expressions of our Xarel·lo grape from the Penedès terroir.
Among participants, visitors will get to taste unique wines from Albet i Noya, Recaredo and enjoy some more familiar names like Miguel Torres and Codorníu Raventós.
Meet winemakers and attend any of the masterclasses at this singular event for lasting wine impression.

Pardas Xarel·lo will be on hand this year at the Prowein 2015.
The Pardas Winery at Can Comas has joined the newly created association for promoting organic wines from Spain.
Thus, on a joint stand with 13 other wineries, Pardas Xarel·lo will be made available for tasting among other artisan Xarel·los which the winery produces - Pardas Rupestris, Pardas Xarel·lo and Pardas Aspriu
