“My father?” X raised his eyebrow as if to say he’s joking right? “I’ll talk to my mother within the next little while, I think. You do know who I want to marry correct? Of course, I have a good relationship with them.”

But no Carrow would ever lower his or herself to wanting to marry one.” Aylee let out a long sigh, the sound somewhere between frustrated and distraught. “If circumstances were different, I’d just cut him out completely, but I can’t. Same house, same team, and next to you, he’s the only person I feel completely safe with right now.” Merlin, how she was desperate for a change of subject, so she went for the only one he offered. “Who are you trying to fuck?”

“Whatever, you decided to do, I will follow. “ He reassured her, it was true. He would never fully abandon her, she was his other half. “I think you need to confront these feelings and see what happens, it may turn out okay and it may not.” He sighed, not really sure what to do. As she asked that question, he turned completely red. “Umm, uh eh.” He stuttered out.

As she stepped inside, she pulled him in behind her, turning to see what they’d been presented with. “Perfect.” It wasn’t an overly large room, but it had what they’d need. In the middle stood a singular bed, walls on either side lined with cabinets with crystal doors. “Why don’t you go pick out some toys while I get comfortable?”  Luciana suggested, moving towards the bed.

He looked around the room, impressive with what she had thought of. He followed her instructed and went to look as to what was there. Xavier had become suddenly nervous but he wasn’t sure why. Luc was pretty, he could do this. He needed to do this.

He nods, even though he was a half-blood, Jace was actually cool. “Thanks,Daniels, I’m so out of routine I am unsure of what to do. Ay told me something and I don’t know if I can process it properly.”

Addy laughed rolling her eyes at his joke. “You know they wouldn’t even get that far. Not with these skills.” She giggled as she brought her hands out as if dueling with an invisible dueling partner. She wiggled her nose at his tap as she stuck her tongue out at him with a smirk. “I’m glad to hear.” It was no surprise her father had yet to speak of his late wife’s death. At least, some things never change. She knew she’d have to tell someone at some point, it would probably hurt if she didn’t. “Hey, Zav? Can we go for a fly? I uh…need to tell you something.” She asked her smiling fading.

He absolutely adored her laugh, everything she did had him trapped by her. He looked her in the eyes when she spoke her nickname for him. “Anything you want to do Addy, you can always tell me anything.” He reached her her hand to squeeze it.

It’s not like she expected support from him, given what she’d just admitted, but somehow the lack of it was like a dagger to the chest. She slowly laid back down, which put a fair bit of distance between the two of them. “I am, though. If I were a real Carrow, I’d be able to bury this. To ignore it and even force the feelings away. I’m a fraud, Xavier. I’m an absolute fraud.”

He knew what he had said upset her, “Ay, it’s not like I don’t support it, it’s more like my head isn’t fully processing it. I’ve been programmed to seem they are something I can play with and that is it.” He tries to explain. “You are not a failure. I am almost positive that other Carrows have done this. I mean I am trying to fuck a half-blood.” He smiles at her, trying to reassure.

Luciana slipped her arm through his. She began leading him towards the Room of Requirement, already seeing in her mind the room she wanted. “What a gentleman.” 

He smirked, he really needed this today. Once they got to the room, he opened the door unexcepted to what it would look like.

“Victories have been at a terrible low recently, I’m afraid. Even without a ring on my finger yet the engagement has everyone staying at least twenty feet away from me.”

“I really wish my mother would hurry up with my engagement.” Xavier saw no point of dating when he knew he would be betrothed to someone eventually, he really hoped it was Addy though.

Aylee sighed. “I don’t know why. I’ve been taught all my life not to sully my bloodline for the sake of my heart, and yet I’m sitting here wishing I could be engaged to him instead.” She shook her head. “Merlin, I’m disgrace to the Carrow name for even considering it. My whole life fighting to prove I was deserving of this family, and suddenly I’ve developed a heart.”

“Mother would not approve of this, I do not approve of this. Unfortunately, I, however, cannot tell you what to do. If that is how you feel, that is how you feel.” He ran his fingers through his hair, he did not like this at all. “You are not a disgrace to the Family name Sis, you are simply going through a situation. Also, there have been amp loads of Carrow who have married outside of the elite.”
