hi y'all. I’m super late to the party but, as they say - better late than never. It’s been hella busy and unfortunately I won’t be around much this weekend as I’m out of town visiting fam (last minute trips ftw) but I figure I should introduce myself and give y'all a small idea of the goon I plan to play here. you may call me r and this is my son xavier lawson. I’m super stoked to be here and to plot with y'all so I’ll leave an intro under the cut for my dumb and if anyone wants to plot with him y'all can hmu and we can come up with something. and I’ll try to reply to starters the second I’m more available :)
xavier (or xav for short, or maybe xavi, sometimes aquaman, idk get creative with nicknames) is an Aussie who hails from the Gold Coast. His childhood was basically on the beach. He grew up surfing and diving and was a competitive free diver for a long time. He also worked part time at sea world which is where he discovered a deep love for marine biology and a desire to protect these creatures and their oceanic habitats. He decided pretty early on that this was the life he wanted and began to work extra hard to get into a good school with a marine science program so he could make it his life mission to protect the earth’s oceans and their inhabitants.
so bruh gets the opportunity to study abroad and ends up in the states livin’ the dream and eventually meets the girl of his dreams (holla at ya girl elena) and has been in a relationship with her for two years now.
he’s in beaufort, nc working at the nearby duke university marine lab as a researcher, living out his hippie dreams of saving whales and dolphins and the like.
his hobbies include water sports, making fun of american politics, long walks on the beach and the over use of the word “mate”. his dislikes include Outback Steakhouse, when people try to imitate his accent, littering by the ocean, and american sports (“that is not footy,” he cries in the background as the Super Bowl plays)
he’s an aquatic mammal apparently so if he’s not at the marine lab he’s either jogging around the meadows and trying to get to know his neighbors or (more likely) traveling to the nearest beach to enjoy some time in the water (which is where the nickname “aquaman” came from, a joke started by his college roommates) like dude just feels more at home by the ocean so yah expect a million beach starters
he’s spontaneous and rather adventurous, and is very likely to rope whoever is near him into mini adventures too. he’s super outgoing and friendly so no one is safe from him
but he’s also oblivious AF so like don’t be too concerned if he just doesn’t catch onto signals that ya don’t actually like him - he will continue to act chummy even if you insult him to his face lmao he’s so dumb
he’s just pretty genuine and sweet so like if he considers your character a friend then they’re like family for him. since every thing he knows is on the other side of the planet he gets kinda lonely. so like whoever he meets and loves becomes home to him and he really hopes to make this place his home now.
