Tony greeted his friend Dallan from the door before heading to the car. “So Cat’s in danger and she left in a fit. We have to find her.” He pulled out his phone and opened the tracking app. He quickly noticed that something was wrong. The device on the car showed that she was at a nearby hotel but the other tracker showed she was further away. He chuckled lightly and shook his head. “That’s my girl.” His friend looked at him with a raised eyebrow, “Well, where are we headed?” Tony hooked his phone up to the mount and pointed to the screen. “See that dot…” Dallan’s eyes widened. “All the way out there?” Tony nodded and they headed out.

Cat began to swim for what felt like hours but was only for a decent hour. She decided to swim for another hour before wrapping herself in a towel. She watched as a group of boys walked out of the hotel. She rolled her eyes hearing them whistle at her. Just as she was done getting her stuff packed up one of them came over. He took her hand and pressed his lips against the soft skin. “Bonjour, mon chéri. Est-ce que quelqu'un vous a dit que tu es beau. Et comment agréable que l'âne a l'air d'un lointain?” The boy smirked and gripped Cat;s butt firmly. Cat looked him in the eye, the color in them slowly growing a boit darker something she somehow got from Tony. She decked him in the jaw and kicked him in the groin, kneeing him in the face as he went down. She watched as he curled up into a fetus position crying out. She knelt down to him and spoke. “Est-ce que quelqu'un vous a dit comment ne pas traiter une dame sur une première impression ou combien d'un idiot de vous même à distance?” She watched as he looked at her with wide eyes. Cat only smirked and pushed him over, rolling him into the pool. His friends stood speechless and watched as Cat simply strolled back inside. Cat strolled up the steps humming quietly to herself, she walked back into her room shut the door. Cat sighed softly as she hung up her towel, sliding off the two piece she was wearing. She took and shower and sat down on the bed beginning to think. Cat began to think about everything that had happened earlier making her upset. She got back uo and got dressed. Cat placed her phone on the bed not bothering to take it with her since it was the cause of her problems. She walked out of the hotel room and down to the park that wasn’t too far.

Tony, now seething with anger, watched as she drove off. He shook his head and walked back into the room to grab his phone. He quickly dialed the number of his old friends. He gave them Cat’s location based on the GPS tracking device he’d installed on the car. He went upstairs and opened the computer once again, re-reading the series of emails that had been sent. He was relieved to see that she hadn’t replied to many of them. But one message in particular caught his eyes. He called his friend back and asked to be picked up before going to find Cat. 

Cat sighed and brought a pillow up to her face before screaming into it. She sighed and let some tears fall before wiping her face. Cat sighed and realized she had forgotten something in the car. She began to walk back to the car and once she reached it she dropped something and watched it roll under the car. She got down on her back and rolled under the car. There she heard the sound of beeping and looked up, she pulled off the tiny device and scoffed. She growled lowly and put the tiny tracker back on the car before dialing her friend. She spoke for a few minutes before hanging up. Moments later she had checked out of the hotel and had her bag. She watched as her friends Jade and Tori pulled up. She asked to switch cars with them and told them that she needed to be away from Tony and she watched them to take the car so he wouldn’t follow. They exchanged cars and Cat thanked them before she began t drive again. This time further and out of town. She pulled up to a better hotel and once again checked in. She went to her room and threw her bag down. She placed her bag down and pulled on a bikini before walking out of the room. She set her stuff down on a chair and dove down into the crystal clear water. Tori and Cat had decided to stay at hotel Cat was at.

Tony turned to look at her. His eyes slightly darker than before. “ You’re being threatened by some maniac and all you’re worried about is this damn computer?” He threw it onto the bed before turning away from her and running his hands through his hair. He heard the sound of zippers and rustling clothes which caused him to focus his attention back to Cat. “And where the fuck do you think you’re going?” He followed her out of the room, calling after her. “Catarina Valentine you’re not leaving this house and we’re going to talk about this.” He reached for her arm and pulled her back to him. He was trying to remain as calm as possible. He knew that if this had occurred a few years ago, he may have done something he would live to regret. After being with Cat for so long, Tony had learned to channel his anger into different activities like boxing but situations like this did not aid in his issues at all. “Who is he?” He stared into her eyes waiting for a response.  

Cat continued to walk, her feet moving faster hearing Tony’s feet follow. She sighed and pushed herself from Tony, turning around to walk again. She felt her eyes begin to water but quickly pushed them back. Cat was not going to let herself cry. Not it front of Tony. She knew he was angry and she doesn’t blame him. But she was scared to. She was scared that he was going to go out and do something stupid that could get him hurt. Cat quickly ran down the steps. She grabbed her phone and stuffed it into her back pocket before climbing into the car. She quickly locked the door and sat in the car. She sighed softly and started the car before speeding off. She knew Tony would most likely follow but she wanted to get away for a least a few minutes. She continued for miles until she pulled up to a hotel before parking. Cat walked inside and reserved a room. She took the key and ran up to the room before laying down.

Tony looked around the room nodding before taking his gaze back to her. He got up from the bed and reached underneath it retrieving the computer. “If you have to hide it, it’s not nothing.” He stood up and walked to the bathroom, locking himself in. He figured that she would’ve tried to take it back if he’d stayed in the room. He also didn’t want to accidentally hurt her if the emails had revealed some form of infidelity. He opened the laptop once again and read through the series of threats sent by this anonymous person. His face began to heat up and his legs began to shake. He slammed the laptop shut and walked out of the bathroom clearly pissed. “Two months Cat…this has been going on for two months and you didn’t think to tell me?” He paced the room, staring at the ground. 

Cat started to follow Tony until the bathroom door was shut in her face. She sighed and sat down on the bed, her face in her hands. If this is how he is going to react to finding the emails it would be much more worse to find out about what had happened a couple of days ago. Cat had been walking back to her car from the store when a hand came over her mouth causing her to let out a scream. It wasn’t long until she was fighting back before being slammed to the ground leaving her bruised and unconscious for a few seconds. Her eyes opened and she looked around before climbing back into her car and driving back home to Tony. That day nor night she hadn’t mentioned what happened and she was planning on keeping it that way. He mouth dropped open hearing the slamming of her brand new laptop. “Hey! That was a brand new $2,00 laptop! Look I didn’t want to tell you because I knew this is how you would react. And- wait. Why am I even having this argument with you.” She rolled her eyes and grabbed a small backpack like suitcase before beginning to pack some clothes an toothbrush. She slipped on a pair of shoes and out o the backpack before quickly walking out of their bedroom.

Tony sighed and let her go. “You may have won the battle Ms. Valentine, but you will not win the war.” He moved back on the bed and grabbed the laptop, ready to show her what he had purchased while he was away. He typed in the password and listened as the log-in theme chimed. The wallpaper he’d expected wasn’t there, instead Cat’s email was pulled up. He noticed an unfamiliar address and opened it. His face quickly hardened. “Cat, could you please explain to me what the hell this is?” He turned the screen toward her.

Cats smile instantly feel as her eyes locked on the screen. She pressed her lips together a bit and sighed shaking her head. “I- It’s just an email. It’s not a big deal. I promise.” She grabbed her laptop and shut it before placing it under the bed. “Can you just forget about it. You just got home and I don’t feel like arguing with you.” She placed her face in her hand over her face and stood up, looking down at Tony with an emotionless expression.

Tony grinned and allowed for her to have control over him. He’d get his chance later. He licked his lips, tilting his head back to give her more room to cover. “I think someone missed me quite a bit.” He teased, “I missed you too.” He moved his hands to her waist and sat up, holding her close. He pressed his lips to her neck gently, moving them along toward her ear. Once there, he nibbled lightly. 

`Cat smirked and looked down at the boy beneath her. She leaned her head against his as she slowly began to grind, her hips meeting his. Her moves suddenly became more rapid,before the suddenly stopped. “Don’t get too cocky pretty boy. I  may have missed but I do love food more than anything!” She grinned and kissed his lips softly before climbing off of him.

Tony wrapped his arms around her. A grin appeared on his face as her lips met his. “That’s good. I can’t have my baby unsafe.” He raised his eyebrows and chuckled lightly as her hand met his bum. He followed her toward the kitchen but turned by the steps. He stopped in his tracks and turned to pull her toward him once again. “Oooo, I almost forgot. I have a surprise for you.” He brushed her hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead.

Cat smiled softly and looked up at her boyfriend. She grinned and kissed his nose before kissing his lips softly, a soft pink tint rising to her cheeks. “Why? You didn’t have to. And honestly to tell the truth I actually just want to eat pizza.” She giggled softly. Cat grabbed his hand and began to walk up to the steps and into their bedroom. She kissed his lips while walking to the bed backward. She flipped them over and began to straddle his waist, pinning his wrist down as she kissed down his jaw.

He noticed the slight change in expression but paid it no mind figuring that she’d tell him if anything was wrong. Tony chuckled softly at his girlfriend’s worry. “Me? Hurt? C’mon now babe, I’m a  professional.” He reassured, pulling her onto his lap. “How about you baby girl?” His hands rested on her waist as he stared into her eyes. 

Cat looked up at the boy and shrugged her shoulder. “I’m getting by.” She kissed his cheek softly and stood up from his lap, pulling him up with her. She smiled resting her chin against his chest before pecking his lips. She playfully smacked him on the butt and began to walk toward the kitchen. “I’ll be in kitchen cooking dinner. You can watch t.v. or go upstairs and relax.” She smiled softly and began to wash her hands.

Tony grinned upon seeing his beautiful girl come out the door. He set his helmet on his bike and walked forward. He opened his arms and wrapped them around her waist, picking her up. It was almost as if they hadn’t seen each other in years even though he’d only been gone for a few days. He set her down for a second before picking her back up bridal-style and walking into the house. 

“I missed you so much babe. How has everything been around here?” He places her on the couch and removes his jacket. 

Cat smiled widely up at her boyfriend. She kissed his lips passionately and pulled away, tugging on his bottom lip with her teeth. She grinned and kissed his nose softly. Her smile faded a bit at the thought of the email but it went back to the way it was. “Lonely. I missed you. You never call when you are gone.” She frowned a bit as she kissed his lips again. “You know I get scared every time you leave.” She ran her fingers through hi brown locks as she sighed softly. “Are you hurt at all?” It was rare that she saw Tony come home with any bruises or cuts. And if he did they were small.

                               bad things

Two years. Today makes it two years since the incident back in alley. The first time she had ever seen that side of Tony. At first it was scary it had damaged Cat a little but she was still her dorky and fun loving self that everyone always knew. Her friends and family were very supportive. She sighed at the thought of it and looked over at the side table next to the bed and grabbed it. She opened her laptop and ran her fingers through her hair. She opened her email and scrolled through them before one caught her eyes. 

from: [email protected] : oh hello dear. i hope you didn’t forget about me. just remember i’m not done and I will not stop until I find you. you’re mine. and mine only. I hope you and your  boyfriend are prepared for what is coming. 

 Cat sighed and closed the email. She had been receiving  these type of emails over the last two months. And of course Tony didn’t know. She knows how he would react and she wasn’t ready to go through that again. Especially now that she was pregnant. And again Tony didn’t know only because she had just found herself. She wasn’t sure how to tell Tony about either of these things and so she wasn’t going to. Well at least not about the emails. She shut her laptop forgetting to exit out of her browser hearing the familiar sound of a motorcycle being parked. She smiled and stood up from the bed before running down the steps and out of the door.
