please do not involve yourself in something when you clearly do not have the full story behind the events that took place. there was no bullying that took place in that conversation, for one. for two, my friend’s character is a canon character put in a crossover verse. and finally, you’re being the least mature person out of anyone involving themselves so far with your bullying insults. she tried to continue the conversation and work things out, but momo mun blocked her and cut things off, so there was no way for this to be kept private. especially when momo mun is dragging this out into public to milk the drama for all it’s worth with all of these vague posts and anons they’re answering. as i tried to point out yesterday, she only asked for a few tweaks to the quirk because things were too similar. it’s not about them both being based in jrpg tropes or ideas, but the actual mechanics of how the quirks work. so please calm down and do not resort to name calling on a public platform just because you want to defend your friend. that’s not how things get resolved.

ll Okay. This is the last thing I’ll post on this drama. But I need to get this settled.
First of all, I’ll apologize for lashing out at your friend about their character not being 100% their original idea. I lost my temper because I was feeling attacked myself.
Secondly, I do not agree with the part about ‘not accusing me of copying’. The screenshots which have been posted do not include the full conversation.
Below I will add all points of the conversation in which your friend either directly or indirectly accuses me of copying from them directly by means of:
- Calling the similarity or the fact that I took inspiration from RPG games suspicious. (Because surely nobody else in this world knows about RPG tropes)
- Being MUTUALS with them. (Despite the fact that I hadn’t been on this blog for almost 2 weeks prior to my activity yesterday)
- Refusing to believe that they had zero concrete evidence.

I don’t even know if I can post cause you blocked me but I’ll try anyways.
First, I do thank you for the apology, honestly that was the main issue I had with you throughout the main bulk of the conversation. So I do appreciate that you apologized.
Second, I still did not “accuse” you of copying. “Well it does feel a lot like that” was a response to you in the form of a personal opinion. Just like you had the personal opinion (at the time) that I have no originality in OC creation and can only take a canon character and plop them into another canon, I’m allowed to have the personal opinion that this all feels eerily similar. Still I never used the wording “copy”. I kept saying our muses were “too similar” that =/= copying. So if you would get it out of your head that I was trying to “accuse” you, I would also really appreciate that.
Third, not sure where the mutuals thing really comes into play, other than I messaged you because we (at the time) were mutuals, otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. Also I would suggest reading my last post, the one that states that I never messaged you originally to cause all of…. whatever this is now. I did think it was funny at first and thought maybe we could get a quick laugh out of it and after a message or two that would be it, but then you started on about thinking of something else for a quirk, then immediately followed it up by trying to prove a point. That immediately puts up defensive walls for not me but yourself and now look at where all this culminated into instead of just leaving it alone.
Fourth, evidence to me was of the similarities of our muses which you wrote in your original post, not of copying. I don’t know how many times I can reiterate this fact to you and all your friends who have been quite rude.
There is no technical fifth, but I’m quite fed up about this RPG factor that you keep wanting to rail upon. So again, I’m going to copy/paste my statement from my original post.

You came at me in a way that made me defensive and suspicious. I’m not taking away from you that you took RPG inspiration, but in that moment, after I stated first where my character was from, then you immediately reply with another similarity between them, in my defensive mode, yes it looks suspicious. But if it helps you to move on and get your friends off my ass, I agree that anyone can take RPG inspiration, and I’m sure you did as well, and I don’t doubt you put in a lot of work into the quirk. I never doubted your abilities, but we were both defensive by this point in the conversation so that was why I said “suspicious”. Take it how you will.
I honestly don’t know what else to say at this point, I’m so fed up with everyone. I don’t like to bring drama onto my blogs, but it doesn’t help when I’m being attacked by your friends and accused of things I didn’t do. You blocked me, I didn’t block you. I don’t know if talking this out is going to do anything at this point. I don’t intend to change my character since he’s been this way for a while now, and at this point I’m just done with the conversation. All I’d really ask is that you and your friends drop it and leave me and my friend alone. We won’t bother you and you guys don’t bother us. I think that’s a fair trade.

I don’t really feel like typing much more on this topic so I’m just going to say yes, both of us not bothering with each other is indeed the way to go.
It doesn’t really matter at this point anyway. After all of this, I completely lost motivation to continue working on my OC’s BNHA verse, so I decided to just scrap the idea all together, regardless of the quirk. I’d rather just keep her in the MM verse where I actually feel comfortable.
