He got caught in the rain and now he’s completely soaked and still hungry since he forgot to eat breakfast this morning.

Today was adding up to be a very good day for Genesis. For once, the forest seemed to be teeming with berries of all kinds high up in the canopy, making food easier to find than ever, and even that one pesky tailow who was eternally trying to bug her seemed to be no where in sight.
The eevee trotted along one of the natural paths in the forest, carrying a sitrus berry in her mouth to eat when she was hungry later. The pokemon couldn't wait to get back to her den; a day spent lounging in the shade of the trees and splashing in the shallow creek right by her home sounded perfect. Of course, as per Murphy's Law, a hitch in her plan to spend the day alone just had to crop up.
Genesis paused when she felt a drop of water land on her nose, blinking at the droplet that was clinging to the black epidermis. It was...raining? Genesis faintly recalled observing the sky to be unusually gray earlier, but must have forgotten about the signs of rainy weather in her haste to find food. Shaking her head at her oddly poor memory that day, she scanned the surrounding area for a tree to find shelter in. Quickly, she ran up the trunk of the vegetation, scampering into the crook of a few branches that would protect the small canine from the rain.
Genesis nudged her future meal in between her chest and paws, content to stay in that spot until the rain passed. Well, until she spotted a new presence. A slight sound alerted the eevee to a pikachu below her, his (well, she assumed it was a he) face slightly contorted by discomfort. Genesis felt a faint twinge of pity for the thing after she noticed its condition. For Arceus' sake, she, even while in a tree, could hear the growls the pikachu's stomach was making. Not to mention, the mouse seemed to be soaked to the skin. Reluctantly, Genesis looked down at the berry she had been holding to her chest. Electric-type pokemon were supposed to like sitrus berries, right? But she had really been looking forward to eating the one she held in her possession: it was one of her favorite foods. Then again, she supposed that she didn't have nearly as much of a need of it as the other pokemon... With a sigh and a quick glare at the sky, the eevee made her decision.
Pesky morals.
"Hey you!" Genesis called out to the pikachu below, her tone carefully crafted to hide the slight caution she felt. The pikachu didn't look like the aggressive sort, but you never knew when a pokemon was hostile. "You want this?" she dead-panned, gesturing to the yellow berry in her paws with her nose.

The client, a shady Wigglytuff who was always wearing a fedora and sunglasses, seemed a tad desperate to get that apple no matter what. In any case, the payment was good, as 8000 poké was a very generous amount. Apple Woods was only a few steps away, so, with an enthusiastic disposition, Kaito started his way to get a cherished perfect apple.

It was beautiful.
Genesis had been taking a stroll through her forest home when she had come across a hidden grotto, which was odd, considering she walked past that certain site many times before and had never spotted the thing. Nonetheless, the eevee had walked into it out of curiosity, only to be suddenly blinded by light just when she was in the middle of the structure. When she opened her eyes, well, you could imagine her surprise at suddenly finding herself at the peak of a mountain. When her initial panic at finding herself there had somewhat subsided, she then noticed that the forest she was looking upon was practically endless and there was no human city in sight. The fact supported the theory lurking in the back of Genesis' mind, telling her that she wasn't exactly in her own world anymore, but she immediately dismissed it as a ridiculous possibility.
Figuring that exploring was the only way to figure out where she was, the young eevee had made her way down from the mountain and was currently exploring the forest below. That was when she caught sight of a huge tree in a clearing with the most perfect apples in existence. The fruits were impossibly red, shiny and glinting in the light of the morning sun. Genesis was practically drooling over them.
A sudden craving for apples arose in Genesis, and with a nod, she began to try and run up the tree. Unfortunately, the trunk was very tall, and with her species inability to truly climb trees - due to their claws not being able to hold their weight - she was having difficulty reaching her desired food.

Genesis didn't like the feeling this place was giving her.
The eevee's day had started normally enough, with the early afternoon sun gently easing her away from her sleep. She had spent a while splashing in the water of the creek by her home before deciding to take a relaxing stroll in the forest. It was then that things began to go awry. The ever present - and annoying - figure in her life took on the form of a taillow named Ace, who on most days, enjoyed bugging the heck out Genesis. It was practically a ritual for him to do so at least once a day by this point. Today, Genesis' annoyance with the bird prompted her to chase Ace in an attempt to drive him off. What she hadn't realized was that the sneaky little thing had led her straight to the doors of the Pokemon Tower without her noticing that it was in fact that particular building. Ace had disappeared directly afterwards, no doubt to hide from her wrath once she realized that he had left her to walk right into the hands of her worst fear: ghost type pokemon. In any case, Genesis assumed that his disappearance meant that the taillow had hidden inside the tower and, as such, had barreled through the doors. She was definitely beginning to regret her actions.
Genesis had felt a chill run down her spine when she realized that she was essentially within a huge cemetery. She had attempted escape from the establishment several times already, but every time she did so, she only succeeding in getting herself more lost within the labyrinth of graves. She supposed it was the bad side to being short even among a naturally tiny species; most things were bigger than you, including headstones that you can't see over. With a groan, Genesis came to a stop within a row of tombstones and tried to stand on her hind legs, an action that gave her a chance to view the entirety of one half of the room before she fell backwards again.
"Where is that exit?!"

If there was something that Genesis had been expecting to be sitting right outside her home, it certainly wasn't what seemed to be a more humanoid version of Mew. Genesis had been coming back from hunting down a sitrus berry or two when she noticed the purple creature leaning against the tree containing the hollow she lived in. Of course, as per her somewhat impulsive nature, Genesis immediately stomped up to the other pokemon in an obviously irritated manner. The eevee had been hoping to seem intimidating towards this strange pokemon, but if she had been someone else watching the current scene unfold, she would admit to herself being nothing more than an amusing sight; a tiny pipsqueak, trying to appear bigger than she was by puffing out her chest and scowling? It was almost laughable.
Genesis remained oblivious to this, though, and continued to her little march up to this stranger's side. "Hey you!" she yelled, all fury and spite, "Can't you see you're on my territory?"
The eevee huffed, as though the intruder were nothing more than a pesky fly set on annoying her. "And here I thought pokemon actually bothered to learn manners nowadays."
A hungry tummy makes for a very unhappy chu.

Genesis cautiously made her way up to the pikachu lying ahead and came to a stop a few feet away from him, setting the sitrus berry on the ground and nudging it with her nose so that it rolled towards him. "I'm guessing you need this?" she dead-panned.
