Info for Awful Kidnapper fans - the game is still in development! I know I haven't been posting new patreon updates for some time now, I'm sorry for that. It was due to the combination of me not being able to work on the game for a while, plus the existing new work mainly consisting of written plot (so it's a bit harder to report on, without either spoiling everything or saying it so vaguely that it sounds boring) But I plan to return to regular patreon posts, starting next Sunday! Thank you to everyone who's interested in the game and believes in me (regardless of whether you're a member or not). As a small teaser I can say that the intro of the game was remastered, with the weird unnecessary writing choices being replaced by more meaningful dialogues. MC's internal monologue at the start now more clearly showing their character and motives, plus the meeting with Wade looking a bit different (creepier and more fun) More details soon.

At that one convention that I had flyers and posters hung up on my table, which advertised Awful kidnapper and Serial killer with sensory issues, for some reason, I didn't expect anyone to ask me directly about the games?? And when one person did, it felt so unexpected that I got stressed out and gave probably the most boring description of anything ever. From what I remember I mostly just mentioned that it's a visual novel and mentioned the genres, with barely any specific information. I would honestly be shocked if that person was actually interested in playing after hearing that 💀
