Lately a lot of players have been having trouble with aim, so I’m thinking about setting up a skype group finally! I know a lot of us aren’t very fond of skype, but it seems good to at least give it a try. I have no idea how skype group chats work, so I’ll need help with that if we try it out.

Egg had his own reasons for following people around. Generally it was just harmless voyeurism, but more often than he cared to admit, it was a lot of curiosity. Egg liked watching people; he liked checking on them and knowing how they were doing, what they were eating, who they were dating and what they were hiding. He liked keeping tabs on strangers and listening to them breath.
And he liked watching them sleep.
Everyone slept differently. Not drastically, generally. Some people curled on their sides or slept on their backs or threw their limbs around, challenging the world while unconscious. Clinging to pillows and stuffed animals and people and insomnia and rolling over during the night, fighting off whatever ghosts they had trapped in them. Egg himself slept on his stomach. Given that it was one of the only position he could be in, he sometimes felt a bit robbed of the choice.
One bed egg found himself accidentally frequenting held a pile of appendages that rebelled with a sense of comedy that seemed almost ferocious. Where others tossed and turned, these twirled, spun, dripped and snared along their covers, breaking the boundaries of sheet, bed and floor. The freedom of it all was beyond obnoxious, and egg found himself stopping by often to judge it.
It was one of these nights, while egg grunted over his polaroid camera for jamming on him, that the stranger woke up to the noise and watched him with bleary eyes.
There was a pause, a headlight confusion when their eyes met, and the slow whirring of a crumpled photo printing. Egg ghosted quickly.
The stranger spoke up then, and he said "Wait!" words before withdrawing again, feeling the darkness of the room returning.
Shadows crept and he felt his heart echoing quietly off the walls and he tried again, softer, nervous now, questioning himself. He gagged out a "please" and realized if he stopped talking, it would be silent again and so words bubbled out strained, loose and disorganized. He explained that he'd woken up from a nightmare and he felt alone and he was just going to get some water, but somehow the halls seemed foreign and the path seemed dangerous and also that the ghost really shouldn't trouble themself and that he appreciated the visit but if it wanted he would have liked to talk a bit. And he felt embarrassed to say these things when he probably dreamt the figure, honestly, but talking was better than not right now. But he eventually ran out of words and rubbed his arms together instead, staring at them tiredly as his nightmare-fueled adrenaline ran out.
When he looked up he saw a glass and an arm, and more arms and a sheepish looking face tucked behind a collar. He stared for a bit before quickly accepting the water, deciding that benevolent apparitions shouldn't be left hanging too long. Egg stepped back while his companion (whose name he was starting to vaguely recall being some sort of J thing) drank and looked him over, and it wasn't until egg rubbed back his hair with a dark, eyed arm that RJ's face lit up, and he pointed with excited recognition.
Their conversation was dotted and awkward and decidedly short. Vague references to potentially shared events, driven on by nervous geniality on the part of the not-so-stranger. Egg was avoidant but patient, for himself at least, and stayed until the glass was emptied, and RJ had loosened up into a very literal state of relaxation again. As he got up from his chair to go, RJ stopped him again.
These words were much less desperate and panicked, hesitant but not out of fear this time. And it was a "Thank you" and it was a "if you want to stop by again, that'd be nice". And egg shifted his hand against the camera weight in his pocket in shame and said he'd think it over.

And so time passed, and the next time Riska found egg's questionable collection, she wondered why there were more pictures of this boy than the others, and she wondered why some of them were awake and also smiling too.
We now officially have a forum! It’s still sorta WIP, but feel free to register (or just browse) and I’ll approve you whenever I’m online!
We’ll try to set up some sort of event to get the ball rolling over there, but for now, feel free to just playtest it and try to figure out how to get the gallery thing to work right
Also Tewi said they’re gonna try to give us thread download tools, so we’ll back up the whole rp and put it up somewhere once we can :>

HELLO I accidentally replied privately to the person who sent an ask to us about what will happen to the group because I meant to hit “save as draft” and instead just sent a message that says “ffff” to them before memorizing the name and anyway the point is!!
we’re gonna stay alive after teg goes down! we’re working on figuring out how we’re gonna do it, there are rough plans about a forum and stuff that we’ve gotta look into. but don’t worry, we’re alive forever (regardless of how slow we get)!
We’re also pretty excited about tewi’s plans for teg2, but we wanna set up a place to play in the meantime, and if we like whatever we do, we can keep it around for side rping too so that’s cool!

okay so a while back I promised I’d give an actual explanation for all the flavors I wrote for this thing so here I’m doing it
(also if anyone missed out you’re free to still request characters anytime, it’s not a one-time deal!)

Each of the flavors is based on three things primarily: Personality, Power, and Physique (triple P!) so let’s see
Reilly- Ozone, Limes, Old Soil
Sharp bright flavors for her electricity + old, nurturing flavors for her age/kindness
Riska- Thunderstorms, dust
her illusions give ominous, intangible flavors + earthy concreteness for personality
Rowan- Alcohol, Iron, Orange Peel
Rowan’s powers are biologic and uncoordinated, so he tastes like raw bio components
del- Cherries, Salt
Solid, bodily flavors. del’s hedonistic with a body based mutation, so he’s got food-like flavors
Landis- Marrow, Crinkly Paper
Full, meaty flavor from his healthy physique, fragile sharp sound flavors from his physics based power
Lucy- Coffee, Jagged Rocks, Static
deep sunken flavors from lucy’s personality + confused buzzing for his low patience and intangible power
RJ- Spring, Fall, Cucumbers
flavors about change! Bright, light, and malleable
Puff- Needles, Fire, Sugar
physical mutation means stronger, sweeter flavors. Harsh defensive notes because of puff’s aggression + speedster gives sharp brightness
Karin- Ice, Almonds
calm, light flavors. karin’s personality is forgiving but firm, so body from the almonds. Power is intangible and bright
Alana- Bricks, Vanilla, Fruits
strong solid flavors from alana’s physique and dedication. High light notes for her ability to relax and enjoy herself
Tilda- Roast Chicken, dental Floss
Tilda has the contradiction of a powerhouse physical power, which gives rich hearty flavors, plus a fairly light build and a zesty personality!
Kenneth- Tinfoil, Glass, Peas
brittle, mysterious component flavors for his power, since it’s about picking up pieces of information. Peas for the homey, calm flavor of his personality
Juan- Candlesmoke, Wax, Salt
more solid body flavors because of the physical mutation. Wax and smoke from the malleability of his power, dry bitter tastes for his jaded personality
Elliot- Vinegar, Books, Apples
sharp biting flavors for his eels powers. body and solidity from the books and apples for the physical mutation. thin fragility from the small body under the power
Allballs- Grapes, Paper, Water
smooth friendly tastes + blank, open tones because it’s a control based power
Sky- Cold, desert, Crackers
brittle, contradicting flavors for Sky’s powers of destruction and creation + a feeling of being lost
Leo- Wire, Berries, Cheese
Strong satisfying but non-complex flavors from leo’s physique, plus wires for his strung nerves + harsh, concrete power
Richard- Sticky, Acid, Sweet
Overpowering biological flavors. danger and invasiveness from his power, sweet from his cheer and physicality
Justine- Flour, Wind
Changeable moving powers because he’s still young and energetic. Some body from the flour, but not yet settled
Lily- Mint, Bread
Straightforward flavors for a straightforward personality! Cold and fire from the mint for her powers, bread from her sturdy build
Huê- Muffins?
Unclear, but comforting flavors
Echo- Cake, Jerky, Rivers
The most physically fit character, so the most filling flavors. Rivers from her tendency to be in motion + air motion in her body
Nick- Tinsel, Brandy
Solid harsh flavors for his solid, sharp physical mutation. Satisfying agedness from the brandy for his physique
Glutton- Moss, Stone, Rattling Windows
Solid dense flavors for his build. Acrid, earthiness for his digestion based power. Rattling windows for the competing between their power’s hungriness
Penny- Mint, Lime, Tar
Bright acrid flavors. Bright for power and thin but strong build gives strong notes. A bit of the taste of a smoker.
Jack- Sawdust, Rain, Steel
Thick flavors. Hearty heaviness from the build with dry mechanical tones, and a bit of accidental nurturing for personality. Power gives the brightness and sleekness of the steel and rain.
jory and I made blind art, where you sketch with your eyes closed, then go over it after to try to make sense of it! the results are artistic and horrifying!
