Hoo boy I've literally been working on this guy for over a year, haven't had time between jobs to art a lot so it took a hot minute to actually finish. But here he is, in all his glory! This is Andres, the Phaerie alien pirate from the far end of the galaxy. His species is technically a higher form of sentience, millions of years ahead of the human race in forms of technology and evolution, the ancient race of the universe. Nobody knows what the true physical form of these intelligent beings, for they possess such a technologically advanced 'body armor' (it kind of has the appearance of black latex but it functions and looks like the glass of a phone screen with touchscreen functions, some of which are only visible to him because of the extra color cones in his eyes-good way of keeping certain information to himself- and other abilities far beyond any humans wildest imaginations.) They use these body suits to disguise their true form, their reason for doing so unknown, so for every other sentient race one of his kind comes in contact with, they appear slightly different. i.e. The form I have drawn is how a human's brain would be able to perceive HIS existence with the suit on, and depending on how similar each sentient race is, they can either see him similarly, or vastly different depending on the complexities of their own perceptions of the things around them. So because of this, they are very rarely identified, unless they purposefully reveal themselves or by accident. They are a very sought after race, for they are the oldest of the galaxy, and harbor many technologies, knowledge, and secrets, about almost anything that had taken place millions of years ago, maybe were even there for the creation of the universe itself. Nobody will every know.

I haven't gotten far enough with him to create a backstory, All I have so far is that he's wanted among his race as a 'traitor', but he refuses to divulge the reason why, and is very tight lipped about everything related to his situation. All we know is that he wanders the galaxy, avoiding detection, and taking any job, no matter how dirty, to keep his quest going. Where he is going, that's another mystery.

hope you all like him! <3 his original concept came from a contest in college. We had the challenge to design a character based on some really interesting topics. mine was to create a successful design using the subjects Fairy Alien and Pirates. One of my colleagues was SURE it couldn't be done, but I proved him wrong by winning first place. ;] Andres has evolved greatly since then and I am very proud of this updated design compared to the one in college. he still looks the same, just changed up a few things like getting rid of the gaudy pirate hat and ripping the sleeves off his jacket, and putting his hair up in a ponytail.

here’s a collaborative oc of mine named Djinn Zei. He’s like the manipulator of dreams, and can communicate with others through them. since he’s a collaborative piece between me and a friend of mine, he’s got two separate personalities; his main form is mute, and does not speak, also gives off an air of mystery and lets his staff do all the talking. His counterpart, the doppelganger possessing his staff, is crude, raunchy, and overall a very promiscuous and rude entity.
