Thanatos extended his his hand to rest on her arm for a couple seconds before pulling away. It wasn’t seemly. “I can’t leave for dinner if I don’t have the guest she wants. All the attendants are too scattered to leave. You should have left too.”
"I don't want to go home this year." She admitted, knowing that she would likely get punished just for saying that but she didn't care. "I would rather stay here in this awful school than go home."
"I don’t do what others tell me. " Thanatos grabbed his handkerchief to hand to her, sitting next to her. "I’m perfectly happy where I am."
"Thanatos, I don't want you here. Leave." Her voice strained as she tried to keep her tone respective but she quickly decided to change the subject. "Why haven't you left yet? I know your mother as been asking if we could come for dinner tomorrow..."
"I asked to be alone." She hissed, hurriedly wiped at her cheeks. "Leave."

"My cousins may have strayed from their path, but they’ll find it again soon. I’m making sure of it. As for my unsophistication, you should know that power only comes if people fear you, and at least people know not to cross me.”
"Power comes with respect. If people don't respect you, you are nothing. If people only fear you, you are nothing but a monster to be slayed. But with respect people acknowledge your power, let everyone know of it. There is some good in honor Perseus and you surely lack it." She smiled at him though her eyes grew cold as she carefully straightened out his shirt as if he were nothing but a little boy. "Do not disrespect me again, Perseus, or I'll show you what fear feels like. Tell Monsieur Lestrange that if he wants you to pass on your blood, that he needs to give you lessons in proper etiquette. Just because you enjoy the kill doesn't make you a pureblood prince, there are other parts you have to focus on or you end up looking like a wild animal; like a mudblood mutt."
"It is the best thing, letting a animal suffer is just cruel you know?" Avis smiled as she pulled knives from her belt. "Being lesser than other creatures is a poor existences."
"True." Xenia laughed softly, stepping in the path of the approaching person, slipping her own set of knifes from her procured backpack. "I can just tell that it's a mutt." Her eyes darkened as they finally bolted in through the brush coming face to face with her and her partner in crime.
Did you hear that? Someone’s running, this way. And it’s rather sloppy.
"Well, I did hear that the proper thing to do for an injured animal, is to put it down."
"Salazar I detest that girl. " Thanatos glanced at the space between them for a fraction of a second before back at her with a bittersweet smile. "I’m sure the sponsors will send you something suitable." It felt strange to be wandless but he let her take it without a problem.
"No sadly, but we make sure to get some from someone less fortunate than us, yes?"
"I don't feel like being their play toy, Thanatos." She hiss, bitter at the situation and much more shaken up by the injury than she let on. "I won't do things for their entertainment. I'll just...clean it with my wand when we get back to camp." Xenia frowned before heading through the woods, her butterfly knife in hand.
"That would be what we are hunting for, Thanatos."
"You look very good", he noted simply. It wasn’t really like him to try to make anyone feel better but he figured once a decade wouldn’t hurt too much. Alexander felt a bit of a sting as she touched his wrist but he had had much worse so not a sound left his lips. "Your kindness is greatly appreciated", he said politely but still wondered what influence her sudden benevolence. "What are we hunting for dinner? Assuming, of course, you had something else in mind."
Xenia laughed, deciding not to argue the compliment as she concentrated on healing his injury until it was virtually gone. "All better." She stated, tucking her wand away. "Thanatos and I went on a hunting trip of our own, We have plenty of food that can be prepared. And plenty of water to drink, of course."
He was ready to strike all through the time the person in question was approaching him but as they proceeded to sit down next to him, he lifted his eyes for a moment to make sure they were no threat. “Oh hello. And no, I haven’t. If you’re asking because of this”, he said, gesturing at the almost closed gash, “don’t worry. Nothing major, just a small token of appreciation.”
"So how are you? Did you enjoy the show?"
She was already tired and irritable from spending the night on the ground despite the help of her conjured sleeping bag, her head pounding from lack of sleep but she still managed to make herself look presentable. Xenia looked over the gash, taking his wrist in her hands as carefully as he could to inspect it. "Would you like some help? I don't offer to just anyone but I do have a warm meal and a quick fix for your arm."
"Now I may be occupied but that doesn’t make me deaf, you know", he stated calmly, right arm firmly holding the wand in front of him to appear as if he was absolutely invested in closing the small gash on his arm.
Xenia rolled her eyes and took a seat next to him, knowing that if she doen't pose a threat that he wouldn't hurt her. "Have you eaten?"
Thanatos’ eyes widened as he scanned her shoulder. “Who did this?” His nod of acknowledgment was all he gave before taking her wand and thinking of whatever spell would work. “Let’s be honest Love, that shirt ain’t much to work with.” He worked quickly watching as her skin slowly closed up, healing itself. “You’re alright though?”
"Nova Black. I was distracted with another girl.." She stated, keeping her face void of her emotions. Sure she was a Death Eater but she wasn't made for this sort of entertainment; she wasn't an animal. "I'm going to need another one, so we have to go find one." She huffed, almost taking his hand before she realized that she couldn't. "I'm fine, thanks to you. I'm in your debt." She offered a small smile before taking the wand from his hand.
"I don't see food in your stash so we will have to make due. No blood on the shirt as well.
"There’s a wand in here too. I could silence that mouth of yours."
"You'd love that wouldn't you but no such luck, Perseus. It's a pity you Lestrange boys would be perfect if it weren't for how messy and unsophisticated you are and lets not forget about your blood traitorous cousins."
Oh thank Salazar, I thought I’d have to kill you.
"We both know that you couldn't. However, how are your healing charms?" She asked, pushing her hair off of her shoulder to show him the large cut that was caused by a sai sword. "You can use my wand but you have to give it back...I'll just have to put her on my list"
"Fix it before it ruins more of my shirt." She produced her wand, forcing herself to act as if the injury was just a minor paper cut.
"Backpack full of weapons? Looks like the odds are in my favor."
"Muggle weapons can only take you so far, Lestrange."
We shouldn’t, therefore we won’t. You’ve made me give Avis and Bellamy extra time, which means we have tomorrow evening to spend. But you could have told me, the worst that would have happened was I would have broken his legs for hurting you.
I know. And that wouldn't have helped my issue. While he made no move to kiss me, it was my choice to not kiss anyone else. You are supposed to give yourself whole to your husband and I was committed to that. So, don't worry over it now.
Goodnight, Thanatos. I do look forward to our dinner, wear...white -- gold accents. You like especially handsome in that combination.
