Peter scoffed, his eye rolling fondly at the sentiment. That was one way to put it.

“Did you have to deal with all this?” he asked gesturing around them. “I honestly hate urban shoots. Don’t they have the technology to just impose all of this on a green screen or something? I mean,” He shrugged, “If I got anything from the marvel movies it’s that CGI is magic.”

It had been an easy gig to book. Sure, the roadway was blocked off and that meant that the only thing he could hear was the constant stream of yells from angry people who’s morning the shoot had interrupted and the barrage of car horns that rounded out a great morning but that was no matter. At the end of the day the only thing that really mattered was doing his job and collecting his paycheck so he slunk off towards one of the barricades to stretch while they did lighting checks on the street, his partner for the day twirling as the photographer clicked away before speaking to what Peter could only assume was an intern of some sort by their frazzled look. 

“Yeesh,” the dancer tsked at the display to no one in particular, “You’d think they’d want us out of here as soon as possible. This is going to end up taking all day.”

Reese: Seeing as how the season of pumpkin spice is upon us...it is officially appropriate to begin talking about my favorite holiday.

Reese: So...what are your Halloween plans?

Peter: Same thing I did last year. Feed of of the abundance of applause my groundbreaking performance as Jonathan produces and then get so drunk at the cast party I can sustain a healthy buzz until Thanksgiving.

Intro

peter murphy is a 26 year old heterosexual cismale that was born on july 29th. he live(s) in manhattan, but they’re originally from louisville, kentucky. they are a/an  ballet dancer for a living, and often get told they look like chris wood. we wish them the best of luck in the city that never sleeps!

Peter is not a wimp. 

He’s just as manly as any other guy and he’ll be the first to prove it. He’s got a chip on his shoulder and something to prove so it’s no wonder that he’s found getting kicked out of bars for fighting almost as often as he’s found under bright stage lights at Koch theater. 

He was born in Louisville, Kentucky where his mom owned a competitive dance studio. He had never met his father so he spent most of his time at the studio. 

At first he just watched his mother and his older sister but soon he joined in classes, taking ballet, jazz, and tap classes alongside his sister. 

It wasn’t long after this that he discovered the the loved dancing. It made him feel seen and expressed and self-actualized in a way he hadn’t known to be possible. 

After winning a few competitions and working through all seven grades of Cecchetti he was recruited to join the New York City Ballet Academy. 

At the age of fifteen he moved to New York and has been dancing there ever since. 

He’s currently cast as the Nutcracker prince and just came off of a run of Romeo and Juliet, where he danced as Romeo. 

All in all he’s a sensitive guy with a bit of an inferiority complex that only really goes away when he’s on stage. Plot with me.
