The drunk tank. A place Theo never thought he would ever visit but here he was. The room spun and the liquor still was fluid in his blood stream. He had his head leaning against the wall and his eyes closed due to the bright lights making his stomach churn violently. Then like someone punched him in the guts, he ran toward the toilet in the middle of the cell, allowing his stomach to empty its contents into it.
After he was done he, flushed and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He leaned his head against the cool metal of the toilet and felt a bit better now that he vomited. A hard chuckle echoed in the cell and Theo turned his head to see a tall, biker type dude laughing at him which made him angry.
“And what is so fucking funny huh?” He asked aggressively while standing. Now Theo was not one to start a fight. Usually he was a peaceful person but this guy was laughing at his suffering and right now with still being slightly drunk, he was in no mood to deal with this shit.
The biker stood up and Theo realized how big this guy was. He had to be about 6 feet, very built and very scary looking. Theo coward internally but on the outside he stood tall, trying to show that he was not intimidated. The biker walked toward Theo but he never moved from his spot or changed his attitude until the guy was right in front of his face.
Theo awaited for the punch but the biker guy just laughed and patted his shoulder. “First time in the tank kid?” Theo could feel his body relax now knowing that a fight was not going to be happening. He just let out a soft chuckle and nodded. “That obvious huh?” he asked walking back to the bench and took a seat.
“Just a little,” the guy said taking a seat next to Theo. “The name is Rex.” He held out his hand and Theo took it, shaking it before letting it go. “Theo.” He introduced himself. “What did ya do Theo to get you locked up in here? You dont seem like the type to cause trouble.” Theo shook his head and placed his face in his hands. “Oh got into a bar fight about a girl.” he said sighing. Rex nodded and patted his back.
“It’s always about a girl aint it?” he asked rhetorically, letting out a soft laugh. Theo nodded and sat back. “Yeah, a girl who has no fucking idea I exist, but who ends up fighting some scumbag in a bar cause he couldn't keep his hands to himself.” Theo pointed to himself. “This jackass.” He rolled his eyes and laughed to himself. “I am a fucking idiot.”
“Mason!” Theo looked over to the front of the cell to see the cop looking over at him. “You made bail.” The cop opened the cell and here walked in a very furious Journey storming into the cell. Theo felt as if he was 3 feet tall. He knew how much Journey hated fighting esp when Theo was involved but he had no choice. If he didn't get involved who knew what would have happened to her.
Her face was crimson with anger and Theo just hung his head as he exited the cell. He went to open his mouth but Journey held her hand up which immediately made him shut up. “Just get in the car before I leave you here.” she said storming off. Theo let out the breath he was holding and looked at the cops. He nodded and the cop just laughed knowing the brunette was just about to get a ear full once he got to that car.
