After her long night of getting slime off her body and her belongings, Imani felt well rested. She was slightly irked that she couldn’t check her social media accounts as usual to kill her boredom. She was on a tropical island which was way better than the cold weather her family was experiencing back home. Dressed in her favorite bikini, she grabbed one of the mimosas off the counter and made her way towards the pool. Just to put her feet in. “This was well needed.” She let out a sigh of relief as she kicked her feet in the water.

She laughs looking over at the woman, “Not since I been here but then again, this is like the first challenge where I’m actually in tune?” Thea scrunches up her face, not really satisfied with her own wording but proceeding. “Not you wouldn’t have lasted this long!” She raises her hand towards her mouth, as a heartful laugh passes her duo. “From little clips I caught of the show, there’s more to come. I don’t know how I would feel about a pie being slammed in my face.”

Imani listen to the woman speak and nodded her head enthusiastically. “I’m so serious. Anything that involves me getting dirty I just can’t do it. I hate being icky ever since I was a kid.” She shuddered at just the thought of getting dirt under her acrylics. “Hmm pie? They hate us here or something?”

“Yes, that wisdom shared from parents and grandparents has come in handy so many times. I wish I could still call my grams because it just seemed like she knew everything.” A soft chuckle is pushed past the female lips as she attempts to rid herself of some of the slime, her face twists up while doing so. She lowers her brown orbs to view her shoes, considering she was clueless to the pair she slide onto her feet being queen of throw that shit on. A smile spreads along her lips lifting her gaze to look at the female, “Thank you and oh yes, same here. I’m taking me a good hot shower for sure. I think this is my first time ever being slimed. That’s crazy. Never in my life would I have thought something of this nature would occur” She shakes her head.

At this point she couldn’t help but laugh about the situation. The whole thing was ridiculous. “All in the name of the game I suppose.” She chuckled and shook her head. “Have they been doing stuff like stuff this since y’all got here? I don’t think I would have lasted this long if that was the case.”

“Right, and anything but slime” She laughs, “Baking soda and vinegar” Thea answers rather quickly before pausing and raising her index finger. “Don’t ask me how I know that.” A soft chuckle passes her lips. She catches eye of the bag and shakes her head, “That’s a bomb bag too. The boldness of these people.”

Her eyes widened as she looked over at the girl. “Oh shit my momma used to tell me to use that combination to clean stuff.” She stopped wiping her bag and let it be for now. It would get cleaned a little later. “Thank you babe it was a gift. I love your shoes too. As soon as this is over I’m taking a bath.”

“Let’s do it because I did not know I joined Nickelodeon” She snickers looking over at the female, shaking her head. “If anything, those hesitant to answer should’ve been sprayed.”

“Exactly! We at least tried so why punish us for our effort.” She laughed with along with her as she still wiped away the slime on her bag. “I hope I can get this cleaned.” She rolled her eyes.

“Wait wha-” Thea begins but doesn’t completely finish as the slime is sprayed amongst the islanders. Turning her head, her face makes a grimace of disgust as the slime come in contact with her body. “Dammit” She chuckles before observing herself with her lips pursed together.

Last thing Imani was expecting was to have slime over her new outfit. “So who’s paying for me to get my hair done again?” She removed as much as she could and sighed, defeated. “I’m not playing no more.”

Imani finally finished curling her hair and curled the front strands to the side to better frame her face. She lastly pulled out her favorite pink gloss and applied it to her lips to complete her look. She couldn’t lie she was a little excited for this date with Chance. He looked like the typically guys she would go for. His smile is what made he stand out from the others to her and hopefully she made a good choice. Looking at herself one last time she was happy with her outfit and she hoped he liked it too. Imani left the bathroom and made her way over to the designated date area. The table was small, but everything was still decorated beautifully. She took her seat and waited for Chance to arrive. “Hey handsome” @chcnced

“You own your own business? That’s so cool. Congratulations on that.” Listening to him list her favorite liquor made her laugh. “Casamigos is really top five it’s smooth as fuck I recommend it to people all the time. Next time you’re in Georgia we have to hang out so I can hook you up with a nice drink. I’ll make sure it taste like juice lightweight.” She teased. “That’s great that you’re looking out for the young ones in your community. I really want to get more involved in community programs back home. Growing up there wasn’t much to do but get into trouble so maybe you can help me think of something. Imani tucked her hair behind her ear and looked at the man’s lips as he spoke. “I feel you on that. I want to build a bond and having a little spending money would be great too. How’s your time been so far? You’re enjoying yourself?

I’m Imani.” She reached out her hand to shake his. “Well I’m from Marietta, Georgia and I bartend. I’m in school too I really want to get into nursing. Before you even ask I’m here for love. I typically go for the quiet types. Someone who doesn’t do too much lol. Someone who’s kind to me, loyal and can make me laugh. He has to have his shit together I’m no longer building a man up for the next bitch! Physical qualities I look for are nice smiles and nice skin I’m not too picky
