7 Day Challenge Update:

I lied. I did not start. 

I didn’t make time on Monday. Daylight savings sucks. Had Pilates at 7AM and was dead tired when I got home from work. 

Monday night/Tuesday morning at 3:30 my sister gave birth to her baby girl so I was awake awaiting updates since I went to bed knowing she was going to the hospital not 100% sure whether she was in active labor. 

Tuesday at 8am I had a dentist appointment and after work I went to see my sister, husband, and new baby. Came home in time for dinner. Thank goodness my husband cooked dinner and didn’t wait around for me to get home and cook otherwise we would’ve eaten dinner at 8:30 or 9. 

This morning I had my 7AM Pilates class. Going to go to the store after work to grab ingredients for the dinners I’m going to put together for my sister and her family as they’ll be leaving the hospital soon. 

One of these days I’ll get around to this thing....

7 Day Ab Challenge

Got new bathing suits! They look okay. Like I wore one to the beach yesterday and I was a little unhappy with how I looked, but my husband encouraged me to wear it so obviously I couldn’t have looked as bad as I thought lol But I do want to slim down my midsection and rather than jumping into PIIT28 or the 90 day challenge, I’m going to start small and do the Blogilates 7 Day Ab Challenge on top of my usual 4 Club Pilates classes. And I’ve also decided that I’m going to start eating breakfast rather than doing a daily intermittent fast because there’s tons of research that it generally doesn’t work well for women. I’m also going to welcome more carbs into my life. Mostly in the form of yummy starchy vegetables (totally craving cajun spiced sweet potato fries right now!!) and grain-free granola.
