Every time I hear people say xiuhan is one sided and Minseok doesn’t care that much for Luhan the way Luhan does to him, I can’t help but shake my head bcuz Minseok does reciprocate Luhan’s adoration for him. His affections are so subtle it’s easy to overlook it and most of the times it’s so lowkey we have to find out through fancams and fanaccs just to see that Minseok cares and loves Luhan the way Luhan does to him. Everyone knows Minseok isn’t a very “out there” person and doesn’t do as much fan service as say Baek does. Which means you have to pay extra close attention to him to see how he really is and how he is around the members. Sure we joke that Minseok totally turns down Luhan every time he’s being affectionate but I’ve seen some jokes go a little too far to where he just seems like a heartless asshole to Luhan and people really think Minseok is so tired of Luhan and he’s a burden to him. Think about it though if Luhan really was a burden to him wouldn’t Minseok have told him to stop a long time ago? I mean it’s not hard to just say stop bro back off. But they have been like that since debut. Actually even since pre-debut as a fanacc has stated that when xiuhan first met, Luhan apparently kept on staring at Minseok (fanacc of some cute predebut xiuhan that states this), Minseok let’s Luhan be that way to him, in fact, he kinda expects it from him if you see that Minseok isn’t at all surprised with Luhan’s touchiness. He’s used to it. Minseok is tsundere af but is no way heartless and doesn’t let Luhan’s affections go unrequited. He just has his own way of showing affection and it isn’t so in your face as compared to other ships. The fact that it’s lowkey means he doesn’t do this for shipping sake. He genuinely cares for Luhan bc he wants to care for him. He wants to be close with Luhan. He has said this before. Minseok has physically shown and stated plenty of times how much he cares for Luhan and what Luhan means to him.
•During an EXO-M fan meet in overdose era, Minseok was asked which member he want to be closest to the most at the start of debut. Minseok picked Luhan. (140609 Samsung Music fansign. There was an audio video of Minseok saying this but I believe it was unfortunately deleted for cameras weren’t allowed at all at the fansign. I couldn’t find it on Youtube anymore)
•Minseok has stated in a magazine that Luhan is precious to him and he cherishes him. (IZE Magazine Interview September 2013 Issue)
•Luhan always compliments Minseok at how he always takes care of him well and really he does take care of Luhan. We always see Luhan being the one who’s super protective and looking after Minseok but we barely acknowledge when Minseok is the one doing it to Luhan. (I’m not about to name the countless interviews of Luhan talking about Minseok and what he’s done for Luhan. You can look that up yourself. He talks about him in a LOT of interviews esp MAMA era interviews. Also fanaccs.)

•Let’s not forget the beautiful moment where proud Minseok bragged to the hosts that Luhan was his friend.
I was looking into this part of the video and right after he said “That’s my friend,” the MC said something to him and then his video disappeared but their voices were still heard. Minseok also looked like he was about to nod his head when his video disappeared. Here’s what they said.
•Minseok doesn’t show affection towards Luhan? He’s not clingy towards Luhan? He seems annoyed by Luhan’s possessiveness? Are you sure?
I mean do you not pay attention to when Minseok looks at Luhan?
•Finally, let’s not forget Minseok cherishing his last moments with Luhan on their last concert together.
And their last gee kiss was the most hardcore and intense gee kiss they’ve had out of all their gee kiss moments. Minseok REALLY went for it.

So tell me again that xiuhan is one sided and Minseok doesn’t care. Platonic or not platonic however you view their relationship, Minseok loves Luhan just the same as Luhan adores Minseok.
