Sorry, had to take an extended break from XIV! Guides will be coming back out once I get started again in Savage.
I’m looking for a new static in Crystal. Preferably on Zalera, but others are fine.

P6S: Cachexia II (Pocket Version) Tetherless Shape Reading
There are a few ways to read Cachexia 2, and I’ll probably be making diagrams based on a lot of the different ‘readings,’ so here’s the first one based on which shape is untethered in the center-- simply because that was the easiest way for me to read it while I was learning.
If there are any other ways to read it that you’d like to see illustrated (there will be one with the full map coming soon.
Reminder that you can make requests for different mechanics!
What’s next for diagrams, buds.
will there be a paywall for diagrams?
There will never be a paywall for my diagrams. In the future, if there's interest and people want more diagrams, I might add a way to tip, but compensation is not expected in any way, shape or form.
Returned
Sorry about the absence, and thank you for your patience. It’s been an extremely hectic year with very little time or energy to make diagrams.
Things are clearing up, though, so I can get back to it. If you would like a diagram made, the best way to go about it is to send me an ask or chat with me about what information you need in a diagram for what mechanic, and which strategy if applicable.
I make my diagrams for myself based on my needs, so they only happen when I need to make one for reference, but I’m happy to make more based on what’s needed or what you observe PF has difficulty with.
Happy to be back. <3
P7S: Forbidden Fruit Pocket Guide
To be used while learning the fight. I had a lot of trouble remembering which egg spawned what, so I made a quick visual reference for the spawns and their mechanics with and without tethers to look at when the information escaped me in the moment.
This is a general reference designed to help you quickly identify what’s on the screen, best used in conjunction with actual guides.
Please don’t forget to link to this blog when sharing, it helps a lot. Requests are open.
What program do you use to create the images you make?
Old and ancient Photoshop! Like, I mean, super ancient.
oh previous anon here, i forgot to add sry! but if you could make anything p3s related, specifically adds, thatd be great!! tsym
Sorry anon, I didn't see asks until just now! Let me know if you still need P3S things. The best way to get a diagram made is to let me know what's giving you the most trouble to understand so I can make the diagram address the problem itself where possible. I don't know if everybody still needs 3 and 4 since the tier is old now, but if there's enough desire for it I can absolutely make some.
P4S P1: A Cheat Sheet
P4S P1: A Cheat Sheet If you’re just getting started on P4S, here’s a nice cheat sheet. Includes when to use knockback to mitigate both cape and late water knockbacks, and an easier way to handle cardinal directions.
Explaining virus/rot and tethers can be difficult considering all the double negatives. Try this for a clearer, more concise explanation to players who are new to the fight. [COMING SOON: Akito/JP Orbs] [COMING SOON: Spread Positions] [COMING SOON: North Towers]
Back!
Sorry about the extended absence, losses in the family and other things took my attention away from diagrams. P4S P1 cheat sheet and Akito/JP Orbs are next on the list, because of course I do things out of order.
A Quick Question
P2S is pretty simple; do you feel it needs any diagrams from this blog? If it does, what would you like to see a diagram of?
ASPHODELUS: THE FIRST CIRCLE (SAVAGE)
Where to stand for Fourfold and Aetherial Shackles.
Positions approximate for clarity. It’s secretly incredibly easy.
Binding Coil of Bahamut: Turn 2 (Blue Mage Tomestone Farm)
The balance between not too much effort and being optimal has been struck thanks to the very clever folks at BLU Academy, who discovered that Addle is also an easily accessible alternative to Shock Strike, which is very galaxy brain of them.
Go left and go ham.
Missile can be brought along as well, but two blue mages are assigned to each boss to lessen the risk of Death failing. (If this requires updating, I will do so as time goes on.)
Tingle cast time bad.
Twitter Implementation
Currently working on a twitter to cross-post these diagrams to as well so that folks who don’t have a tumblr can still follow the releases. Please look forward to it!
