Painting the Polygons
Tools: Clip Studio Paint, Unity
Description: Turnaround of three objects with drawn-on texture maps
Feedback: I wanted to go for a very old, dusty/rusty look . As the base cube, I decided to choose a rusty metal box texture. I contrasted the saturated orange rust onto a metallic green box. For the cylinder object, I made a soda can that is covered with dirt. Lastly, I made the long box a book that is tattered, and the cover worn off. I think the object I struggled the most with was the cube as if felt very flat. After importing the texture into Unity, the box didn't really seem metallic. I'm not sure if it would improve if I had edited the texture I had drawn, or change the material texture itself on Unity when working on an actual games.
