Leila’d been on the quidditch pitch for too long that morning her broom was tucked under her arm and she still had her training robes on. Class wasn’t exactly her favourite part of the day, but professor McGonagall had been threatening to kick her off the team if she didn’t start showing up to classes. Gryfinndor couldn’t win without their keeper. She was runnng to the tower to get her books when she collided with him.

The question caused Lincoln to inwardly flinch. “Yeah, once,” he said, giving Leila a shrug. “Hardly matters now, does it? Being Inhuman changes everything.” Lincoln didn’t blame his abilities for his problems; he’d had issues long before that. In fact, Jiaying had set him on the right path, and despite her endgame intentions, the world she’d created in Afterlife had changed his own for the better.

“I think bothering Morse still counts as making your own source of entertainment,” Lincoln said, giving Hunter a sideways glance. “I’m also pretty sure Daisy doesn’t need to cheat to beat you at video games.” Lincoln could imagine the accomplishment was more exciting without having to cheat, though if anyone knew how to, it would be Daisy. “At least you don’t have sparring practice with her.” Lincoln rubbed his shoulder at the reminder of a lingering ache from the last time she trained him.

“I’ll see you soon” Leila playfully winked at N'Yami. She picked out a plain black suit, she skipped the tie as she couldn’t help but feel like she was wearing a leash when she wore one. She slipped on a pair of heels and touched up her makeup, she didn’t normally wear too much there wasn’t a point as she normally sweat it off when she was working. She wore lipstick which wasn’t common but she liked the bright red colour. She knocked on N'Yami’s door once she was ready?

N’Yami of course had a wide array of dresses to pick from as she got ready for the party. In the end she went with a deep navy blue dress the clung with her figure and touched the floor even with her silver heels. A split down the middle of her dress started at mid thigh. The keyhole neckline showed off more skin than her father might have approved over, but she liked the dress. Her makeup was done lightly the only real dramatic effect was the deep lip color that pulled the look together. Hearing a knock at her door caucused a smile to form on her lips. Opening the door she said, “You look amazing.”
