A list of things I'd tell younger me.

I would rather spend a whole day in a room of dogs than go to a party where i'd have to.... SOCIALIZE *gasp*⁠ ⁠ 

There's an ongoing joke with all of my friends who have dogs that every time I show up at their place, it's for their dogs and not them 😅 where is the lie though 👀 jk⁠ ⁠ 

Younger Nat, it's been many many years later since you first realized you are a big dog lover and sadly to say, you still don't have your own floof though 😭⁠ ⁠ It's okay though, I don't think my love for dogs is ever going to change. 🐶⁠

If I could go back to younger Nat and just knock some reality in her head while going ART IS NOT JUST A HOBBY, IT'S YOUR LIFE.⁠

⁠Through the years, and even more so, the last few months, have I realized how much I run off a creative fuel. I HAVE to do SOMETHING creative or else I feel really drained.⁠

⁠With that being said, if I spent a lot more time in the past working on building my art skills than doing nothing, I feel like I wouldn't have to play "catch up" as much now. ⁠

⁠These past few months have been really good for me to grow art wise though. I mean just look back at my first post on IG and compare it to where I am now. I mean, I'm actually using COLOUR... LIKE WHAT?! My monochrome self is screaming.⁠

I'm SUPER EXCITED to introduce you guys to my Passion Project that I've been working on. For the last while, I've had to privilege to take part in @homsweethom 's Passion to Paid classes. What a jam packed course with so much info. Loved it! Thank you Lauren!.

⁠⁠And with that, here's the start of my passion project: Letters to Myself. The whole concept of this project is phrases that I would tell my younger self knowing what I know now, having the experiences I have gone through. ⁠⁠What better way to kick start this project than with a gaming themed design. "Five more minutes won't hurt, but an hour will." How many times have I said an extra few minutes won't make a big difference but end up watching the hours past. Whoops, school work will have to wait.

I’m going to be launching a new hand lettering project very soon called “Letter to Myself”. 

The whole idea around this project are phrases that I would tell my younger self having the knowledge and experience I have now. I’m sure we’ve all had moments where we thought “I wish I could tell younger me that. Then I wouldn’t be in this mess.”
