[đ EMICHI đ]: emichi, baby, i have the best idea for this weekend[đ EMICHI đ]: you. me. loooooots of vodka.[đ EMICHI đ]: brand new identities & credit lines đ[đ EMICHI đ] AND SKIING LESSONS !!
mxmica:
She cursed rather colorfully as the door was thrown open, playing hot potato with her phone for a moment before stowing it in its rightful place in her pocket. With that crisis out of the way, she set all of her attention onââ
Holy shit.
There was only one person that managed to make her feel so very nearly outclassed, yet also in good company.
âYou never fuckinâ fail to impress, huh.â Emi let her gaze shamelessly travel over her friend, nodding approvingly â almost enthusiastically â when she was satisfied. âYou even straightened your hair! Guess weâre not gonna remember this in the morninâ, huh. We gotta take a picture or somethinâ to celebrate!â A sharp grin cut across her face as she skipped over to Chi, hands in pockets. âItâs been forever, though! The hell have you been up to, anyway?â
Chi watches in unholy delight as Emi skips toward her - a noticeable spike in her adrenaline that would have put a rose colored blush on her face had she not been cold-blooded. Unsurprisingly, Emi looked fantastic - skin flawless and flushed as she came to stand in front of Chi. She immediately leans forward to place a few chaste kisses against Emiâs cheeks, smile devious as she hugs her leather jacket closer despite the heat from the mass of dancing bodies below.Â
The florescent lime colored lights of the dance club flash erratically, tossing jagged shadows across both womenâs faces, and drawing Chiâs attention to the ambience of the upstairs lounge. Though it had looked rather small on her walk up, it in fact spanned large enough for several secluded booths and a bar. Her hands wrap firmly around Emiâs, fingers intertwining as the pair sway their way over to the comfortably crowded bar.
âIt really has been forever.â She purred, green eyes glowing as she watched her friend admiringly, âIâve been...alright. Busy with work and my bitch of a mother. But enough about me, babe, how have you been?â
@xmamushix made a raw deal. â¤
âS-so itâs all here? Everything I need? Itâs here?â The man asked in a shaky tone as his jittery fingers went through the contents of the envolope; passport, license, credit cards, even a birth certificate.Â
Everything he needed to start a new life.
A sigh of relief as he re-sealed it, looking back up at the venomous vixen that had done the work for him. âGood! G-good⌠I really need this.â He muttered quietly, a small smile working itâs way onto his face. He was far too ecstatic to just see the light at the end of the tunnel, he failed to take notice of the windows behind him slowly being opened by sharp black spider-legs.
âA-alright, payment! I donât have anything on me, canât afford to, but I can wire it to you like we arrang-âŚâ He stopped, blinking as he felt a cool breeze on his neck⌠shortly before a thick rope of silk was violently pulled around his throat.
He barely had time to kick or scream before a solid tug yanked him off his feet and snapped his neck; his assailant leaning halfway inside, violet eyes staring inside as she still held the hanging corpse by one of her front legs.
⌠she normally dealt with witnesses fast, but this one was a bit more significant & useful than a kid in the wrong place at the wrong time, wasnât she?Â
Plus, she didnât immediately scream in terror at Kumoâs presence. Major plus.
âApologies that my business had to interfere with yours, sweetheart. But I couldnât let him go buy a new life when he already owed me his, now could I?â Her chin propped on her hands, elbows resting on the chair the poor man had been sitting on as her leg playfully swayed the body by the thread.
Chi watches in obvious distaste as the sweaty man rifles his little fingers through her neat paperwork, his beady eyes gazing at her far too salaciously considering how little time he was supposed to have. Hell, it made her want to cut his time even shorter. These thoughts circled in her head as she watched him, forked tongue darting out every so often with a small hiss.
âYesss, well, it had better be the agreed upon amount. I cannot stresss enough how unhappy  Iâll be if I have to track you down...â
Her spine stiffens at the small click of the hotel windowâs latch, left foot pivoting back into an immediately defensive stance. If sheâd been able to blink, she probably would have - considering the man is violently yanked off his feet, neck snapping audibly in the quiet room. Chi watches in silence as a pretty, yet terrifyingly large arachnid crawls through the window - delicately swinging her newly deceased client.
âThat was unexpected, I will admit - but such is the cost of doing business like ours, I suppose. Though, I would like to know who will be paying my bill. I donât suppose you have 5 million yen laying around?âÂ

He felt a tingle in his spine the second she was to approach him, yet, for once, he welcomed a second scare as the door was barged in. A mysterious figure nonetheless, as his face wasnât revealed by a dark cloth.Â
They simply delivered a manilla folder to the ground at their feet and disappeared from their view in an instant. She made a commentary, as the Ratchiian bent down and fiddled with the papers, skimming through the files and photos attached.
âI prefer-favour it this way.â he muttered distractedly.
His red eyes darted off the lines of the manuscript, as his face lied in mystery behind his mask. If she would approach, he would react a bit slowly but would try to back away until he had finished reading it himself.
With a bit of hesitation, he would hand it over to her, his scaly rat tail laying tensed up to the side as the exchange took place. Once to a halt, he would cover himself with the cloak, side-eyeing her as she read it herself.
There was something deeply unnerving about the girl, either because of the dangerous smell she gave or, rather, how enticing that exact same danger provoked him to want to know more, either because he was too curious for his own sake, or, maybe, because there was something behind it.
Either way, he remained silent and mute until she had finished reading it.Â
The target was a rich Chinese millionaire. She had a whole sky scrapper of her company and she usually moonshined there, working late with her retinue of economists and the like.Â
Especially, she had a thick security system, highly paid, and most notably, a set of defense systems that would complicate things even further. Even there was a certain uncertainty in his eyes.
âW-What are your skills, snake-thing?â he would start with, his jittering not getting any better.
Chiâs eyes narrow in annoyance as she watches her masked companion scoop the manila folder from the floor, deft hands riffling through the papers. She reminds herself to play nice as taps her booted foot impatiently against the floor, keeping a mindful distance from the stranger - practically snatching the folder from him when offered it.
She doesnât spare him a second glance as she reads through the paperwork, filing away each bit of information for reexamination should they need it. Means of termination: ingestion of lethal venom, ultimately to be left to the discretion of herself so long as it mirrored the appropriate side affects in the report. Simple enough, but the high level of security the target had at their disposal was enough to warrant a teammate - something even she could see despite her intense dislike of working with others.
Releasing a sigh, Chi tenses briefly when she tastes a familiar scent on the air,; but she canât quite place it. Shaking off the feeling, she pulls a lighter from her back pocket - letting the flame catch the edge of the folder before tossing it into the empty metal wastebasket. She kicks it until itâs away from anything flammable. Finally, she turns to her companion.
âSnake-thing, hm?â She purrs, dark green eyes fixating with intensity on the other, âIf Iâm a snake, what does that make you? Prey, perhaps?â
Her boot heels click against the cold concrete as she exits the underground room, walking briskly down the corridor. An elevator lays at the end, florescent lights flickering as they enter - Chi makes sure to keep her distance, eyes ominously glowing in the dim lighting.
âI specialize in toxins - producing and inflicting. Iâm very good, you see. And what about you, timid-one? Or is there something you go by?â

teenybeastie:
True, no one she could see was watching; but people so often forgot to look even slightly upwards, and see the costumed hero observing all the scene from the roof of a building, prepped to step in at any moment should it escalate.
At first she thought the kids were giving the pretty lady trouble, and mightâve stepped in to shoo them off if itâd gone on any longer⌠but that wouldnât really be the case here, as her ears sharply perked and eyes widened as the sound of the audible slap that rang in the air, and sent the boy running away.
Mai⌠didnât really know what to do. That wasnât a crime, was it? And it did seem like it was somewhat aggravated anyway. Still, it didnât really sit well with her.
So she was gonna do something about it. Even if it was just a talk.
âYou know, slapping kids is pretty mean.â A girlish voice would very suddenly say in a lecturing tone behind her, just as she was about to continue walking. Maiâd hopped down from her perch very quietly and with cat-like grace, as per the usual. âHaving a bad day or a low temper is no excuse!â
Sure, she wants to jump at sudden voice behind her - but she doesnât and thatâs all that really counts. Adjusting the brim of her navy colored sunhat, Chi turns slowly - and very deliberately - until she faces the slim little catgirl in a what she supposed passed for a heroes costume. Squinting her eyes in obvious distaste, Chi takes a step forward - heel of her laced shoe clicking with an almost aggressive click as she eyed the younger girl.
âHm? Are you talking to me?â Her words are clipped, each syllable deliberate as she continues to stare unblinkingly at the girl. So far, no other heroes appeared - letting Chi relax a fraction.
âMean isnât a crime though, is it, sugar?â Her forked-tongue dances out as Chi gives the girl a mildly charming - if not a bit creepy - smile.Â

He winced instantly, his eyes twitching when the slithery voice of the woman shook his ears down to his core, triggering his fight or flight response for a second before he could calm himself down to reply.
âN-Not if not needed-required.â he managed, anxiety crawling through his spine, he felt compelled in firing back with an equally contentious stab at her, but fearing for the actual reply, he decided not to ask her if she was going to eat him.
It was for the best after all. In any case of the answer, it didnât matter, he wouldâve shown weakness, and would not help influence in how he dealt with her. The awkwardness of afterward followed through, back to the previous silence.
Chi watches as the other winces, eyes narrowing in delight as she begins to close the distance between them - swaying almost like a snake trying to distract or was it play? with their prey. But before she can take a second step, the door to their underground room shutters open. The sound of grinding metal draws a wince from Chi herself this time, forcing her back against the wall quite literally.
A shadowy figure approaches, dark cloth tied across the lower portion of their face in an attempt to conceal their identity. Chiâs nearly vibrating, a stray lock of her hair drifting down to curl demurely near her right ear.Â
âWho are you?âÂ
Her clipped words are left unanswered as the figure tosses a manilla folder onto the ground, vanishing as quickly as it came. Chi turns her face back to the other masked figure, one delicate brow arched.Â
âI suppose thatâs all weâre going to get for a face-to-face explanation, hm?â She wasnât going to comment on the rude protocol their client seemed to have.
The unnerving staring coming from the young girl was almost enough to deter him but his unrelenting love for food held strong. Nodding furiously he leaned a little closer, two tentacles clasping each other as is he were begging.
Something about this young girlâŚfelt familiar. Perhaps it was the green hair reminding him of a student or the over all air she heldâŚ
âWhat is it?! It canât be too bad right?!â
She grows bored watching him, forked tongue flicking out to hiss through the air briefly as her eyes flick around the semi-empty park. Women push quiet strollers, children too young for school play a docile game of house in a nearby cluster of trees, and a small group of punk looking delinquents smoke cigarettes somewhere near the entrance. So absolutely boring.
Chiâs gaze snaps back to the man with an almost predatory intensity, slow smile curling her plump lips.
âSuppose you run around the park screaming random facts ~ No harm in that right? Just some free education. Then Iâll give you my treat right away, promissse.â

He was visually disturbed. He had been like that so far they had been gathered in that underground room. Meanwhile closer to what home felt, the Assassin had no favour of being locked up with that woman.
She reeked of reptile. And worse, of snake venom. His senses were sending him alarms on a constant basis and he couldnât help but to be drawn to a corner and wait for their employer to finally get there. He was not opposed to working in a team, but he didnât have the chops for it. Add that to the fact with how repulsed he was right now, and it didnât help the situation.
It had been a couple of minutes now, and neither of them had spoken. The pressing silence dawning over the room in a dark manner.
@xmamushix
Unblinking eyes watch the stranger in a mask - flitting occasionally to the closed door of the dingy room they were waiting in. So far she was so not loving this mission. Chi was dressed in her work clothes - a breathable body suit that would allow her to secrete toxins at her whim, coupled with a pair of steel toed combat boots. Her dark emerald hair was wrapped up so as to not be yanked - pinned sedately to the crown of her head in a braid.
Her forked tongue flicked out briefly, and Chi could taste the otherâs fear - no, repulsion at her presence. Not all liked working with snakes literally - she merely hoped he wouldnât let it hinder the mission.
âWere you planning on ssspeaking at all tonight?â She asked, deliberately drawing out her sâs in a bored attempt to freak the other out, âOr perhapsss... youâre only interested in hiding in the corner?â
@teenybeastie wants a starter !!
Eyes narrowed at the young punk currently giving her attitude in the middle of the public park, Chi gave a quick look around to see if anyone was watching - no one she could see at least seemed to be paying attention. Whipping back around, she deftly smacked the kid across the face. She didnât do it hard - well, not too hard. He leaped back with a stunned yelp, eyes wide as he scrambled to run away with his friends.Â
Thatâd teach him to disrespect his elders - not that she was old but still. She didnât like it when punks bumped into her and then didn't apologize. Did she look like someone who tolerated that bullshit?
