Foreman starts dating Wendy in s3. He immediately throws himself into getting her surgical hours and job interviews in other states; she is upset and dumps him when she realizes he sees her as a project/someone to help and fix more than a romantic partner

s5, he starts dating 13. And he does the exact same thing. Foreman throws himself into arranging her treatment plans and therapy, even before they start dating: his attentiveness to her diagnosis is what draws her to him to an extent. But as she starts to do better, he cools on her: he still cares, but he is less interested in being there for her emotionally, he starts prioritizing her career over her again.

Foreman is only interested in people he can fix. He approaches these relationships like they're projects with goals (Wendy gets her certifications! 13 gets cured!) and loses all interest in the actual women; he grows pointedly bored of/tired of the relationships when they're about emotions. He's only attracted to women he can fix and project manage and take care of.

House s2 ep22 is so funny because House spends the episode sulking because Foreman won’t argue with him, meanwhile Chase transferred to an entire different department and he barely notices, the favouritism is crazy
