This show is so anti adoption it hurts.
I'm not sure what show you're watching but it's not ouat. Pinocchio and Gepetto are not the only example of healthy, good adoptive relationships. There's the Huntsmen and the wolves that raised him. There's Bae and the Darlings-"Take me back to my REAL family! The Darlings!"
Also, since this show is so pro bio family, it's not like Regina and her bio family was completely screwed up and dysfunctional!! I mean, Cora only controlled and intimidated her daughter and husband with magic for years and years!!! But since Cora was Regina's bio mom, I'm sure that once showed this was aokay!!!
And it's not like Baefire didn't just jump at the opportunity to reconcile with his bio dad!!! After all, Rumple only killed people right in front of him and dropped him down a portal! It's not like they had any issues to overcome or Bae didn't blindly jump into Rumple's arms, crying out, "You're my bio dad, so I'm going to just ignore all the terrible stuff you've done right off the bat and forgive you instantly! Who cares if I was alone all those years growing up! I forgive you, Daddy, cause you're my bio parent!!!"
And Emma! Wow she had no issues at all with her bio family!! I mean it's not like Emma struggled at all to connect or understand her bio parents! I mean, she completely understood why they had to stick her in a tree and leave her all alone growing up!! No issues to overcome there!!!
It wasn't like Henry defended Regina to the Charmings at all. "Please! she's still my mom!" "Stop! Listen to yourselves! You're talking about killing my mom!" Or that they don't understand the bond between Henry and Regina at all. "She's still his mother despite all the horrors." Emma inviting Regina to the welcome party because Henry wanted it.
And none of this even matters in this discussion because Emma first tip WAS Henry not recognizing his book. Did you see the look Emma gave him? Or the fact that she asked if he was all right after that?
Emma DID NOT SAY that Henry wanting to go home with Regina was the reason that she was worried. It was a combination of things alongside a "gut feeling" that something was wrong, JUST LIKE SHE TOLD REGINA.
Please do point out to me where I said this show was pro-biological family. It certainly favours it given the Emma-Henry-Regina relationship that a lot of the show is centered around, which also happens to be the example I'm talking about.
Alright, for arguments sake, let's say that this show isn't anti-adoption. That just means that Henry is in fact an ungrateful little shit, and Emma is a bitch who needs to get her head out of her ass and realize that Regina is Henry's mother, and it's not fucked up for him to want to spend time with her. I suppose that's a theory I could get behind.
PS: When Emma talks to Neal after the whole Henry with the book thing, and he asks how she is, she says "as well as can be expected", indicating she's not all that surprised at how he's acting there.

But from accounts of people who have visited the set and met some of the cast and whatnot, I’ve taken away from it that Ginny, Josh and herself are not as fan friendly as the cast who I’ve mentioned previously.
Of course hashtags aren’t the word of god. They’re the word of the person who wrote them. In this case, JMo. So, she says love to all, she’s trying to respond to multiple fans instead of the same people over and over again and that’s an example of being the most least appreciative celebrity on twitter ever?
And well, I will correct you. Because I’ve seen those reports too. I’ve seen that sometimes they don’t go and meet the fans out there. Sometimes they do. As I’ve heard about how when they do go meet them they’re awesome and amazing.
And I’m sorry but I’m not naive enough to think that a way to determine whether an individual is appreciative or not of their fans is if they go out to meet fans every single time they’re working.
Did you hear about what JMo did when she was in the play The Miracle Worker? If people tweeted her at least a couple hours in advance and tell them what show they were going to, she would meet with them before or after the show? I forgot which. Yeah, that seems like the least appreciative person ever. What about all the times when she’s walking to this appearance or that appearance and she stops to sign autographs or take photos. Hell, I’ve seen video of her at the airport stopping and taking a photo/signing an autograph.
There are going to be times when she, and any other celebrity, is not going to stop what they’re doing to meet a fan. Sucks for that fan but that doesn’t mean they’re not appreciative. Sometimes, it happens.

Not because she didn’t want to interact but she was busy or forgot about it. But season 2 she stepped it up. She had twitter sessions, gave movie/book recs, shared pics.. Then this season, EVERY WEEK, she live tweets the episodes. Like this is the most interactive she has been. AND YOU READ HER TWEET WRONG. SHE IS SAYING THAT PEOPLE ARE TELLING HER THAT SHE IGNORED HER AND SHE IS LIKE UM NO I TWEETED YOU?? She isn’t saying she is ignoring fans. Also, I had the pleasure to meet JMo TWICE. An angel both times. The first time was at Paley. I am the girl she pointed out in the tallahassee outfit. After that she waited for me to make it to the stage so she can sign an autograph for my friend (emmaswans). She was in a complete rush for her flight BUT SHE WAITED FOR ME. And I met her again at Some Girl(s) premiere. She went to every pap to give them what they wanted and then spent a good amount of time with me and my friend (emmaswans) before AND after the film. She just loved us so much that we came to see her and talked to us about our rubber ducks. I just cant with the fandom because yeah JMo used to be distant BUT SHE IS INTERACTING SOOO MUCH MORE NOW. EVEN ON SET.
As for Josh and Ginny.. yeah they seem in their own world most of the time BUT THEY ARE THE FUCKIN CUTEST AND SWEETEST TO FANS. Ginny was on the other side of the stage from where I was and was about to leave and Josh took my magazine and went to her to get it signed real quick for me. LIKE HOW SWEET IS THAT?! And Josh still spent some time to sign extra autographs for me so I can send them to my friends that couldn’t make it.
I have so many other things to say about my interactions but I don’t want this turning into a fangirl post, I just want to give examples of how they are to fans.
Sorry, I’m just going to pop in with this too, Jen doesn’t meet her fans while filming anymore (or most of the time) because twice in the past someone has hidden in her car. I think that’s a pretty good reason not to meet with your fans. Also, you know, she’s working and in no way obligated to meet with her fans then since she’s doing her job already - her meeting fans is a privilege not a right, she doesn’t owe us anything.
