This is a poem by Teresa. It's not her real name, but that's how she was called. I found out she died by committing suicide in 1989, at just 15 years old. It was not long after giving her famous interview that can still be found online.
In her short life, Teresa saw and lived the unspeakable. She didn't get justice because the world was not ready to listen to her. She was a victim of the most hidden, vile, and sadistic abuse - tormented by the hand of a person that was supposed to love and protect her, and many, many other monsters. She couldn't make out of it alive.
If you read this, please send your thoughts, love, and prayers to Teresa.
Wherever you are, my angel, I hope you found the peace you never had in this world😢❤. I wasn't lucky enough to know you, but I was taken aback by your courage. You were broken, but you still told the truth. More than 30 years later, we are still listening. Thank you, Teresa❤.
