I KNOW I disappear on this guy a lot for LONG ASS stretches of time but I honestly do love Skull Face and MGS and I’m so so so so so thankful for those of you that still follow me after 100+ days of absence. Bless you.

HC- Relationship with XOF Staff.(DUMP)

The Staff of the XOF hold their Commander in somewhat high regard-though nowhere near as high as the Diamond Dog’s hold Big Boss.

He’s known to run the XOF like a well oiled machine, fast and efficient- and is known to be an insufferably strict and particularly sadistic disciplinarian to those who disappoint him- though, rather than dismiss or kill them, Skull Face is more likely to send them on higher risk missions, or forcibly submit them to become a part of his Parasite Unit.

Something the staff no doubt strive to avoid.

That all said- good soldiers warrant his respect, and the Commander’s infamous for playing favorites on those who show particular promise- noteworthy skill shown on the field, and mighty thirst for revenge (seriously, he’s all about helping people get back at those who’ve wronged them) 

He’ll totally take them under his wing.

                              *    THROAT    ACHING    /    SKIN    BRUISED    !    she    remains    in    a    catatonic    state    at    first,    unresponsive    to    the    presence    of    the    man    &    his    unit.    covered    in    gore    [    THE    BLOOD    OF    FAMILY    &    FRIENDS    ]    &    dirt    with    skinned    knees    pulled    up    to    her    chest,    mumbling    incoherent    words    to    herself.    THIS    is    the    state    they've    left    her    in.    the    girl's    EMPTY    eyes    soon    fixate    on    the    stranger    &    she    opens    her    mouth,    a    hoarse    FORCED    laugh    coming    out    of    her    burning    throat.    there's    a    smile    on    her    face    [    BUT    YOU    DON'T    WANT    TO    SMILE    ]    as    she    attempts    to    speak.    ‘    —    haha    …    i'm    sorry,    i-i    didn't    want    to,    i’m s–HAHAHAHA    !    s-s-sorry,    i'm    sorry    …    ’    it’s    the    only    thing    she    can    say,    desperate    apologies    for    the    deed    she    was    forced    to    commit    all    while    LAUGHING,    something    she    can’t    stop    doing    now.    tears    &    screams    replaced    by    unnerving    smiles    &    uncontrollable    laughter    [    THIS    ISN’T    FUNNY    THIS    WAS    NEVER    FUNNY    I’M    SO    SORRY.    ]    the    teenager    begins    to    move    towards    him,    slowly    crawling    on    injured    knees    [    IGNORING    THE    PAIN    IT    CAUSES    ]    &    mumbling    two    words:    ‘    HAHAHA    !    h-help    me    …    ‘

HELP. What would mean for her? His first thought is to shoot her-- help the girl by ending what great suffering has been wrought. Next, there’s the option of justice. Revenge. This is one that the man is very keen towards. A moment passes, fingers dance across the grip of his rifle before he steps forward.

“Those who did this... They have imparted in you a beast. I can hear it in your laugh clear as day. But don’t worry, I know what to do-- how to help you.” In the crawling form below him, he sees himself. Covered in searing, deforming oil and melting amidst the rubble of his home. Yet, there was hand. He was helped. HE was pulled from the rubble. 

Kneeling, he grips beneath her arms and pulls her to her feet-- signaling for the unit behind to help with the extraction. “Steady now... We’re taking her back to base. Call for a med team to be ready.”

    Lowering  her  hands,  chin  inclines  with  a  scoff  that’s  easily  WHISKED  AWAY  by  the  cool  breeze.        ❛  My  kill  count  would  fail  to  amuse  you,  I  am  sure.  The  good  news,  they  never  knew  what  hit  them.  ❜        Sashaying  PAST  him,  she  plants  her  hands  on  her  hips  with  eyes  fixated  on  a  far  away  spot.        ❛  Their  weapons,  destroyed,   &   the  blueprints  along  with  them.  ❜        Her  hand  delves  into  the  folds  of  her  coat,  pulling  out  a  file  or  two,  the  smirk  on  her  face,  unseen  by  the  man.        ❛  Except  for  some  that  I  thought  could  be  USEFUL  to  you.  ❜

“The ‘covert’ of Covert-Ops is lost on you, isn’t it? Well then, I’ll be sure to send a clean up crew to handle the mess...” He watches her prance about with a theatricality that could rival his OWN on a good day. Today, however, the scarred commander was in no mood for it. Efficient as she was, the cool wind of France was proving to be quite the hard piece to maneuver across the board. 

Maybe time was beginning to catch up with him.

“ Oh? ” And with interest piqued does he step forward, hand not yet outstretched to receive her files-- he’d wait for them to be handed over. “ To think of me like that, how generous of you! I’ll be sure to add that to my report. ”
