Maxo - Level Music O-5: Starstation Sigma
Dead Dimension from the Pulseman soundtrack.
One of my favorite things about this game's soundtrack is that the music was so evocative. This level was partially underwater but more technology-based, and it just shows so well. GameFreak, you fellas know what you're doing.
Poet from the Bare Knuckle III soundtrack
Can we just sit back and enjoy that almost grimey bassline this track has? Like, damn.
you should post awesome pixel art of course ( especially ガしガし 's)
I am definitely not opposed to pixel art, but this is more of a music blog than anything else. Maybe some sweet art between the music isn't a terrible idea, though!
Level 1 World of Horror from the Monster Party soundtrack.
One of the scariest moments in my early gaming career, the transition to this part of the level was amazing and terrifying. After playing some creepy stuff earlier today, this popped into my mind and had to hear it again.
Flying Battery Zone Act 2 from the Sonic and Knuckles soundtrack
I know most people tend to prefer act 1, but act 2 has always been much more rewarding to me, as I had the hardest time beating act 1. Those annoying jumps in the beginning of the stage, and figuring out that you needed those rockets to blow up part of the floor... man. Finally hearing this was the most rewarding feeling ever.
Chemical Plant Zone from the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 soundtrack
At once point this song was synonymous with stress, because any new gamer knows that struggle with the "Mega Mack" (yes, I read the manual) and those annoying, shifting platforms. Revisiting this today, though, is much more pleasant, since it's not being constantly interrupted by the drowning theme.
