043 : 10/05/2014 ; FUCK CANCER

Today was full of emotion. Earlier this year Nikki’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was the hardest phone call Nikki and I ever had in our 23 years of knowing eachother. She dropped the news and we stayed on the phone til the morning mostly in silence and crying. Tita Olive is like my second mom, along with my Tita Bing. Her smile and laugh lights up the room, shes been through so much adding cancer was a shock. But I know Nikki and Tita Olive are strong and will go through this feeling stronger. The run was very overwhelming. Hoping to do it next year and making this an annual thing.

Love you soooo much Tita, Stay strong!

Of course you can’t spend a day with my whole family without having and embarrassing story to tell about me. The day has barely started, we just finished watching the dog show, get up .. and my slippers break. So now, I had to wear my aunts slippers so I can go out and purchase overly priced flip flops. Walked around in my aunts slipper that was a size too small for me, finally found flip flops that were $15 ! $15, it was an ugly flip flop if I may add lmao

Dear 2014

You are going to be an interesting year.

Putting my foot down, and I'm going to finally make things right. Enough is enough. Jumping the gun and making huge decisions this year, even if everyone even myself knows I'm not ready. I'm going for things I've never would expect to ever do at this time. But when its this rough, I think its worth it.

I honestly appreciate those around me who deal with my emo-ness lately. I'm usually not like this. Emotionally, I'm not very strong, so thank you for dealing with my cries on the other side of the line. Thank you for reading my paragraph-length vents. I love you guys.

This is the part I hate about myself the most..... overthinking. When I overthink it takes over me so much. I can't even find things to do to distract me from overthinking. It's something I'm testing myself to control. So far it's not working, but eventually il learn to brush things off and move on.
