Kari sipped on her cherry and mountain dew slushie, giving herself some more time to think before she spoke. It wasn’t the first time someone had come out to her but it was always such a bumming topic. People always talk as if they did something wrong by admitting what they liked and wanted. By admitting who they are. By telling the truth. Kari lowered the slushie and looked to Riley attentively with a soft smile. “Your secret’s safe, girl. Talk to me all you want about it. Talking will calm your nerves, edge the fear off some.”

Riley was pleasantly surprised, and relieved that she didn’t just shut her down. She smiled a very timid shy smile as she shifted her weight a little. “Thanks for that,” she nodded as she tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. “Please don’t tell anyone you know? I mean I just don’t want someone to think things about me. Like I’m still accepting it myself. I just wanna be me for a while more.” She shrugged her shoulder as she chewed the corner of her lip.

“Yeah.. that is kinda interesting, I still don’t get it. But anyway, that kinda stuff wasn’t my kinds things anyway, my sister was though.”

“It is kinda a lot to grasp, I was super confused when my sister first talked about it to me. But then I got it,” she nodded as she thought on it some more. “Do you and your sister get along?”

“Not to be an ass hat but I wouldn’t recommend broadcasting that to the world.” She explained with a laugh. “As a literature major I know that statement might offend some people.”

Sara was changing when she heard the door open. She looked into the mirror seeing someone standing in the doorway, she instinctively blushed and turned her head down. “S-someone is changing in here.” She said with a slight irritation in her voice.

“What? I don’t really understand?” Nico asked, a bit puzzled. “Is it possible for you to explain it a bit more?”

“Yeah sure, I was just saying philosophically there is the problem or the mind and body, it’s an interesting concept because it makes you wonder where your identity is placed, are you your mind or your body? Or maybe even something more, is your spirit what makes you who you are? Or is that only if you believe in that stuff. It’s kinda interesting don’t you think?”

Chase was not in a very fair mood today. She had been fighting with her sisters earlier and now this person was yammering on getting on her last nerves. Finally her temper got the better of her. 

“I’m sorry,” she laughed with no humor. “Does it look like I asked for your opinion?”

Background

Unlike Riley, Chase gets it, maybe that is because she was closer to her mother than her twin sister was but it is very frustrating for Chase to deal with her family sometimes. She misses her mom and she has a fear of feeling stuck like her. She hates being compared to her mother no doubt, she doesn’t want to be seen as a heartless deserter. But when she thinks about it long and hard she can understand why it was her mother left. 

Chase loves her family, but she always liked hanging out with her friends(and boyfriends) more. She doesn’t want to settle down or anything like that. She is young and adventure is calling. But she doesn't really know how to start on her adventures...maybe she’ll figure it out soon enough.

Background 

Riley grew up with her four sisters and her dad. Her mom left home when she was a very small girl. She and her twin sister Chase were alway really close, that was until they go to high school. Chase became a cheerleader and pretty self involved meanwhile Riley was stuck taking care of their younger sister and their dad who struggled with being an alcoholic. 

Their dad wasn’t abusive or anything like that. He was just broken hearted and stressed out. So he would drink in order to deal with whatever it was he was going through. Riley is the silent sort of glue to the family. She is sweet and sensitive and tries to be there for everyone. Even if that means she won't let people know whats going on with herself.

“So...I am pretty sure that I like girls, and I think it’s fucking terrifying. Please don’t tell anyone okay? I just...I guess I wanted to talk to someone about it or something.” Riley admitted as she glanced off into the distance. She felt slightly shitty about dropping this onto them. But it was bubbling up inside her as she needed to talk to someone.

Hey guys! 

This is my new indie rp blog. I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Lucy, and also let you in on a couple rules I have.

1. I’m still debating whether or not to make this a multi-character or just a normal one character account. But either way the muses sexual preference will be based on the character. Most of them will be bi or pansexual with a preferred gender. As of now Riley is bi-sexual but prefers females. 

2. No godmodding or attempting to control my character. Sorry charlie but that don’t fly here. If I feel like you are attempting to negate a plot too much or that you are being to controlling as a partner I will drop the thread. 

3. Please be patient with me, I’m kind of a busy be so sometimes it takes me a while to replay! You can shoot me a message but don’t hound me about it. I’ll probably drop you faster if you pull that with me. 

4. There will be some nsfw content as well as triggers. I will always attempt to tag them with tw or nsfw, if I miss one let me know, and also I apologize, but I’m only human so don’t bully me about it. 

5. Consent is the most important thing. If smut starts and you are underaged or uncomfortable let me know. I will always check before hand but you should feel comfortable enough to tell me. 

6. I like romance, sorry if that is annoying to you but I like it. I ship a lot but chemistry must be present. I also enjoy realistic characters. Im not against fantasy characters or anything like that but my characters are usually grounded in the real universe.
