Is there any one type of mailbox that is ideal for a midrise or a high rise building?
No. What determines the best mail center for you will be the amount of wall space you have available to build a mail center on the first floor of your building. This wall space has to accommodate all the apartments in your building with both individualmail units and parcel units that are specified per USPS Code.
How many parcel units do we need?
Generally speaking, USPS requires 10 units to every individual mail box. Additional codes may apply to your building in some situations. Do not worry too much about trying to figure out the codes. If you will provide us with the number of apartments in your building, measurements of your wall, and some general information about your location, we can help you build a mail center with the right number of individual units, data boxes, or parcel boxes.
What mailboxes you recommend for remodels?
You want to invest in either surface mounted units or rotary mail centers with rotating horizontal mail boxes contained in a cabinet. The choice between the two normally depends on the number of individual apartments in your building. If you have only a relative few units with very large, luxury floor plans, you may want to go with front loading, surface mounted vertical mail boxes. If you have more tenants, then a rotary mail center may be better for you. The advantage to a rotary center is you can place it anywhere in your lobby regardless of your existing wall space. The units rotate as a group 180 degrees so that they can be loaded from the back by the mail carrier.
Are vertical mailboxes the best option for smaller buildings?
Best is a relative term. Vertical mail boxes do provide more storage space and are easier for mail carriers to access. Larger mail can fit into the slots without being bent, so tenants tend to appreciate this. Not all buildings with vertical mail units are small, however. Some have plenty of wall space in which to build a larger than usual mail center. Others are, like the example above, buildings with very large luxury apartments that have fewer actual tenants to service.

Yes, wooden benches will last if they are properly constructed and treated. Keep in mind that wood itself is not the only material used in building these benches. Several components are made from metal and will definitely withstand inclement weather conditions provided they are properly manufactured with durability in mind.
Many benches that we have are made with a cast aluminum frame that will not rust. This makes it ideal for indoor as well as outdoor use because it will not leave rust marks on the floor. The frame is protected by an electrostatic powder coated finish. The frame can also be colored white, green, black, or brown to compliment building architecture or surrounding landscape features. Others are made with a cast iron which is also powder-coated to prevent rust out.

Full-length, single tiered sports lockers are the best choice for athletic equipment. This is due to the simple fact that only a locker that stands as tall or as taller than a person is large enough to contain some of the larger pieces of equipment that athletes use in various games. Baseball bats, hockey sticks, and football pads are simply too bulky to store in more compact locker spaces. Lockers used by league teams and professional athletes should preferably have additional storage areas located at the top of the unit and the bottom of the unit. These storage compartments should be locked so that valuables and other personal items can be secured while the athlete is at practice or at a game.
