I recently read I Have no Mouth and Must Scream, and have been thinking about how Caine says, during the song in episode 8, "No need to scream if you ain't got a mouth." I feel like this describes the the main difference i see between AM and Caine. AM's torture of the humans in the story humans is because it hates humans for creating it, Ted no longer has a mouth because AM reasoned that that would torment him. But Caine, Caine is mad at the humans for not liking his games, and perceives that the problem lies with them, he is unable to understand their emotions, so to him them being unable to scream is the same as them not needing to
