So I have this hc (since I don't like it when people force Ruv to smile) that Whitty would encourage Ruv to find other ways to express his happiness and appreciation, so that he doesn't have to feel less human because he can't show all the range of his emotions. So what he finds is tapping. Like Ruv, when he feels happy he finds that rhythm is a good way to let it out of himself and it sort of turns into his thing. Whitty doesn't notice it all until Ruv does it on his arm when they're like cuddling or some soft stuff like that so then Whitty is like "What's the tapping about?" "I'm just expressing my happiness" Whitty just melts jxjdms. I can imagine Whitty doing the rhythm right back at Ruv (just like the rap battles....) And you can just see Ruv's eyes light up with so much emotion!! He's got something he shares so intimately with his beloved, of course you can see all that emotion seeping out of him in more than one ways
Happy tapping Ruv is an instant favorite, what the hell. That’s too damn cute. Maybe he also taps his fingers while holding Whitty’s hand too
