I have not been active here in a while. I am so sorry. If anyone wants to do anything with Elsa, please come to me.
“That’s the spirit!” He cheered, and gave another squeeze to reassure her. A little forced, but so long as she could get some hope, it was worth it. What was that saying? Fake it til you got it made? … something like that.
He released her shoulders to quickly finish her braid, this time moving nimbly through the strands. A quick wrap, and tie later, and her signature hairstyle was good to go. He jumped to his feet and held out his hand.
“C’mon. We got a dome to take down.” He leaned down a bit, smirking as his eyes twinkled enticingly. “I’ll fly us there…” he coaxed.
{ ❆ } Elsa could feel it in the air. Something was off. Something she couldn’t quite put her finger on yet. But she figured there was no reason to keep her focus on something she couldn’t explain when there was much more at stake that she did know about. { ❆ } She was silent as he quickly finished her braid, sighing and thinking to herself while staring down at her hands. Once the braid was finished and Sora had hopped to his feet, she wasn’t any further than when she began. She looked up as he held out a hand to her.
{ ❆ } Without a word, she reached up and took his outstretched hand, gathering her skirt and pulling herself back to her feet in time to hear him speak again and catch that smirk on his face. They were going to fly? “...Alright.”
“Hmph. I’m five-foot-nothin’ an’ look like I’m fifteen.” He crossed his arms with a huff. His lower lip jut out in a totally-not pout. “What do you think?”
{ ❆ } The pout on his face was adorable. She couldn’t help but smile at it. He really had no idea, did he? That only made him cuter. “I think you’re perfectly precious, Sora.”
I feel like myself, strong and weak at once - allowed, at least for a little while, to be both.
Veronica Roth, Allegiant (via wordsnquotes)
“I- …” His brow furrowed as he considered this. “Is that what it is? I thought it was just complimenting an’ stuff.”
“You don’t get flattered much, do you?” { ❆ } The blonde giggled lightly into her hand at his response, shaking her head a little at him. Sora was just a little too precious sometimes.
Of course she was. She had more riding on this than even he did. He needed to keep it together. Just a little bit longer, just enough to give her strength to carry through on this. No doubt her past failures were clouding her judgement. Once the winter was gone, the worst would be behind them, and she could finally live in happiness.
“Don’t be.” He insisted. He raised his head back up again, and the youth offered a smile. “We can always try again later.” He assured. He leaned over, trying to catch her eye so she could see the enthusiasm and take some for herself. “You’re stronger than you realize, Elsa. I know you have the power inside you. We’ll find a way to make this work. I promise.”
Because once the people were free, he knew just how to make them forgive her.
{ ❆ } Sora made it sound so simple but it was so, so much more. Who was to say that the curse on Arendelle could even be reversed. What if it was eternal? What if there was no hope? No. No, she couldn’t think like that. It would only prove to become a problem when she actually tried. She needed to keep some semblance of optimism going into this.
“I don’t know...” { ❆ } She wanted to believe him, she really did. But she had spent so long in isolation that her hope had dwindled to the point that it was almost nonexistent now. But she supposed she could try. “I guess I could try...”
“Aaaw shucks, now you’re makin’ me… Hey! Hold it, I see what you’re doing!” He wagged a finger, squinting at her in suspicion. “You’re jus’ tryin’ to butter me up.”
“I do believe that is the whole point of flattery... Is it not?” { ❆ } The blonde arched a brow, crossing her arms over her chest and tipping her head to the side as he wagged his finger at her.

“You think it’s charming?”
{ ❆ } “Why yes, I do think it’s very charming.”
“Duh! Something like that should be no problem for you. So let’s hear it, Princess.”
{ ❆ } “Well, I’ve never actually tried to flatter someone before. But I do find that smile of yours adorable and charming and I do like seeing it on your face.”
“Oh yeah? Let’s see yooou do better, since you’re such an expert.”
{ ❆ } “Oh you want me to try and flatter you?”
I love ships that include a savior and a broken person
I love ships where the broken person enters the darkness and the savior loves them unconditionally despite the pain that puts them through
I love ships where the savior is their light to come home to
I love ships where the savior goes crazy trying to heal the broken one
I love ships where the savior can’t go a day without being reminded of and missing their lost other half
I love ships with angst and passion and desperate, raw need
I love ships where usually stoic, controlled characters lose their coolonly when it comes to that one person
I love ships where they are willing to give up their dreams for each other
I love ships with a reunion injected with emotion and an overflow of tears and embraces
I love ships where the savior heals the broken
I love ships where the savior realizes the broken one healed them, too
I love ships where they compete with and inspire and complete each other
I love ships where they fix each other
I love ships where they bring out the best in each other
I love ships that are beautifully heartbreaking
I love ships that are founded on unconditional love

“Hmmm… your hair looks really nice today. Uh, pretty! It looks very pretty today. Nice braid.”
{ ❆ } “Well... You’re slowly getting there. Slowly being the keyword.”
“Yoooooour dress looks really glittery!”
{ ❆ } “Yes, I am quite aware of how glittery my dress is Sora. But that is not what I mean by working on your flattery.”
“…”
“You majesty! May I say you look especially glittery today?”
{ ❆ } “Cute, Sora. But you really must work on your flattery.”
Truth be told, Sora didn’t care about what happened to him. He had come here knowing his was meant to waste away. That would have happened no matter. But his time here had been happy. Each day had been a new hope, a new chance at life for this palace of misfits. Even the gloomy, testy Marshmallow had grown on him. He’d had fun here, while it lasted.
“And… if you can find a way to take it down, then… maybe you’ll find a way to reverse the curse on the people down there.”
He didn’t need to see her face to know how much his words struck. He saw it in her face every time her powers started slipping out of control, or she had woken up from a nightmare, or even when she managed to open up about her hurts. He didn’t need to see, because he knew that pain personally. But despite that, the hands that had been in her hair rested onto her shoulders. He squeezed gently, reassuringly.
“I know you can do it, Elsa.” He murmured, and he rested his head against the crown of her head. “It isn’t supposed to be this way,” he assured to himself. “It can’t be. There has to be some way to make this better.”
His hands were shaking. His grip was unsteady, despite the awesome strength in his limbs. “There has to be.”
{ ❆ } There was something about Sora’s behavior that concerned her even more than their situation. Something was off and that scared her. Her hands started to tremble. It only happened when she was going into a state of panic. She stopped them by curling them into fists against her lap. { ❆ } Reversing the curse on Arendelle was the only thing Elsa had ever wanted. But, if she ever managed to get back what she lost... What would she do then? What would she have to live for? To work for? Would she even be able to coax with the bustling Kingdom life again if it was ever accomplished? She had been in isolation for so long. { ❆ } Hands squeezing her shoulders freed her from her thoughts and she glanced over her shoulder again at him, expression falling as one hand reached up to touch one of Sora’s own that rested on her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. Something to hold onto. An anchor of sorts.
{ ❆ } She couldn’t think of anything to say. Her heart hurt. It felt like she was missing something. She could feel his hands shaking and she squeezed the one she had in her grasp a little more, trying to reassure even though she needed reassuring just as much. “...I’m afraid.”
He knew what he was about to say was going to hurt. They both had been feeling the effects and the strain. The truth of the matter was that after the novelty of each other’s company had worn off, the weight and burden of the truth was wearing them down again.
And it was killing him from the inside out.
Literally.
But he couldn’t explain that to her completely yet. “I want to go to the edge today.” He admitted instead. “We’ve been practicing a long time. I want… to see you try to take down the dome.” There. He’d said it. “We’re almost out of food, Elsa.”
And that was the truth. That it had been harder and harder for him to hunt the frozen game, and take what little food he could find to feed them.
And keep her well-nourished enough to feed him. Either she succeeded, or they would soon meet their end here in this winter wasteland.
{ ❆ } The stretching silence worried her. The way hesitance hung in the air. She knew that what she was going to hear was going to hurt. And she wasn’t wrong. His words struck her, made her tense, her heart clenching in her chest. He wanted her to... “You want me to... try and take it... down?” { ❆ } It was the one thing she had feared the most. She had thought she had put that dome up in order to protect her once happy Kingdom, but really, it was just a way for her to hide her mistakes. But she couldn’t hide from them anymore. Sora was right, they were running out of food and they needed to fix that. “I.... Y--You’re right...”
