So maybe playing a video game at work wasn’t the best idea? But in my defense I finished everything my boss wanted me to do in record time. So honestly I think I EARNED that video game time. What else was I supposed to do at work with a couple of hours left? Honestly I should be in charge of that office by now. Everyone else is slow as hell. Not many bosses tend to want you to play video games while on the clock. One of those things where if you aren’t doing something productive than you aren’t working, or however that works. What ended up happening? You good? Oh right, taking your mind off of it and not asking more about it. What games you into?

I don’t like the idea of being under my Dad’s thumb. My mom is lovely, but she married a jackass, you know? That’s so sweet of you to say. Maybe we could meet up and get to know one another on a more personal level? Is that how you ask to meet up with friends? I’m horrible at social stuff sometimes. 

One of those situations, huh? I like to try my best. I have some cookies that I can literally bring to the table if you do want to meet up and get to know each other. It’s only fair seeing as we’re sharing a roof for a good while. You’re fine, I’m not the best at it either. This works for me.

Now it’s not nice to tease about reds. Myspace for sure is out of date, though people still use Soundcloud to make spreading their audio tracks around a bit easier. Plus it helps to have the additional space, even if it’s not as used compared to other platforms.

To be honest, if I had chosen to stay in LA with my parents, I probably could’ve been living it up the same way, but I chose to live in New York and not take any of their money. I have to say, I’m glad I didn’t. This situation is something that is a great reprieve from slow wifi and neighbors who don’t know how to keep their sex life quiet. 

I totally understand that feeling. My dad’s would have been totally cool paying for me to have my own place back home and all, but I wanted to get out and do my own thing and now here I am. The story of my life. It’s gonna be fairly exciting sharing this place with you, I can already tell.

Honestly, what doesn’t this place have is going to be the real question, Jay. My father’s would flip if they saw where I was living now. Talk about a reality television show come to life. Well, you know, as far as reality gets with me that is. But yes, there’s cookies for days it looks like!

I’m straight up over today. I got to work, three servers called in, our bartender was sick, they called in a replacement and she spilled a $400 bottle of wine all over my shoes and then I was forced to bartender for the rest of the afternoon after I inevitably fired her incompetent ass. Seriously, I’m just over it.

yikes. It sounds like you had yourself a terribly rough day. If there’s anything that I can do to help out, you just lemme know. Sounds like you deserve some well deserved me-time as the cool kids tend to call it these days.

There’s no need to fear, for your girl has arrived safe and sound in what’s going to be our brand new home. Looks like I’m one of the first few here, so that’s sweet! Means there’s gonna be more cookies for me once I sneak them out of the kitchen and into my room. They’ll never see it coming.
