I need to extract the gender from his body as if it were his life force.
YOU 🫵 listen to DESTROYA for the moans. I listen to DESTROYA for the "You don't believe in God, I don't believe in luck / They don't believe in us, but I believe we're the enemy!" WE ARE NOT THE SAME ‼️🗣
my dead goth son and his friendly neighborhood personified concept of insanity

Huge day for unholyverse gerard
You like DESTROYA for the moans I like DESTROYA for the duct tape scars on my honey - we are not the same.

does anyone have any good self help books that arent poetry?
bonus points if theyre witchy/spiritual and a bit deeper than ur average self love tips
"Tarot Life Planner: Change Your Destiny and Enrich Your Life" by Lady Lorelai is the best tarot book I've found. It feels really balanced, mature and takes mental and physical health into account both in the card interpretations and the spreads you can try. I have 2 other tarot books and I don't use them unless I have to, because there's a world of a difference in usefulness. It has a series of spreads you can do for figuring your life out, too. It's basically a tarot self help book.
Aside from that... erm... Some of these can be found for free either as pirated audio book videos on YouTube or pdfs!
"The Myth of Normal" by Gabor Mate is a good read, maybe more educational than practical but very dense and informative according to people I know who've read it and are really into self help.
"The Tao of Fully Feeling" by Pete Walker is really good for building emotional intelligence and regulation, understanding what the purpose of different emotions are and how we react to them (whether functionally or dysfunctionally). He also wrote "Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving" which builds on "The Tao". Both books are really good at validating pain/suffering/trauma and there are some really good self-talk worksheets in "Complex PTSD" that I've had great success reducing my negative self talk with.
"The Intimacy Factor: The Ground Rules for Overcoming the Obstacles to Truth, Respect, and Lasting Love" by Pia Mellody is also a really interesting read regarding how we manage our energy in relation to others to protect ourselves and our relationships. It helped me grow up a lot.
"Healing The Shame That Binds" by John Bradshaw, again, useful for building emotional intelligence/regulation, and for processing old emotional wounds.
"Walking The Tiger" by Peter Levine seems really good from everything I've seen or heard of him, it's on my to read list
Alice Miller wrote "The Truth Will Set You Free", "The Body Never Lies" and "The Drama of Being A Child" along with other books; she was an early voice against Freud's theory that children were to blame for being harmed by their parents.
Last of all, a workbook I really like is "The Artist Of Life Workbook" by Lavendaire. It's the best diary workbook thing I've tried so far for goals and positive growth, focusing on becoming a more compassionate version of yourself while making progress on the things you can change to shape your life into something more like the one you want. It's expensive though unless you get the PDF! So if you want the physical copy I'd go for everything else on the list first unless you can afford it and you're set on it. The later in the year it is, the cheaper the current workbook will be on sale for if you want to try at a lower price point.
thank you sad wet cat hannibal (jokes aside thank you SM!!!)

No bad parts by Richard schwartz. It’s an intro to IFS therapy but it’s a great way to look at yourself and the things you’re struggling with internally and try to start the steps of accepting them.
It’s very much similar to a witches shadow work and I actually highly recommend using this as a shadow work method when you feel ready!
thank you so much ill check it out!!
