                                 Salem continued to write his last paragraph which turned out to be fairly long but it wrapped up his entire paper. He sat back, re-reading everything and editing out the grammar mistakes if he had any and used different words here and there. Suddenly, the plate of french toast was put beside him and the aroma of the sweet syrup tickled his nose. “Oh god, that smells good. Thank you.” Salem blew him a kiss and sent in the paper for it to be graded. There, everything was done and he had the entire day with his lover. Taking the plate, Salem sat beside Leo and began to eat the delicious breakfast. “You should have been a cook, you would have been an amazing, famous chef.”

       "Please. Being able to make toast hardly qualifies as being an amazin chef." Leo couldn't help the chuckle though, quickly getting back up only to approach his lover again, but this time Leo took a seat in Salem's lap instead. "There. This seat's more comfortable." The older man said with a smile, leaning closer to peck at the younger's lips, tasting him once again, a soft whine escaping from his own and filling the room with static. The man slowly rolled his hips down against Salem's with a wicked grin, reaching for a piece of the toast and holding it at his lover's lips. "Say ahhh."

     ”That’s not my problem. It’s yours.” Tommy smiled, taking the dagger by the leather string that was tied around the handle and dipped the entire knife into the pot. He stirred the boiling waters for a few moments, allowing the dagger to absorb the magic mixed together in the pot. As Tommy slowly pulled the dagger out, it was replaced with a much larger one that couldn’t have fit inside of the pot, a sword that featured engravings from ancient times. “This is fun. It’s kind of like fishing. Want to try?”

    Leo should've probably left the premises a long time ago, but he didn't. Not until he had seen wherever this was going-- and to possibly clean up the consequences it brought along. "Never been good at fishing, I'll have to pass." Leo mumbled below his breath, a certain annoyance showing in his voice. It's not like Tommy ever listened anyway, so he didn't know why he still bothered trying.

     ”Well, I had to at least try.” He shrugged his shoulder. Tommy held his hand over the pot before dragging the tip of the knife on his palm, allowing a few drops of blood to fall into the boiling pot before withdrawing it.

      "I'm not cleaning this mess up, just saying." As soon as Tommy cut into his own palm Leo rushed to his side with some cloth towels, shaking his head, taking the other's wrist after the blood had dropped into the kettle. He wrapped one of the towels around Tommy's hand, making sure it was a nice, snug fit. "You're a freaking idiot, Tommy. Seriously."

     ”Calling yourself a piece of crap isn’t going to make you feel better.” Tommy hummed, snatching the dagger next to the pot. “Because I want to use your blood. Do I have to have a more specific reason?”

         "Oh yeah, calling myself a piece of crap makes me feel fantastic, actually." Leo rolled his eyes, eyeing the dagger in Tommy's hand. "I'm not going to give you my blood, Tommy. Nice try though."

     ”Figured what out by now?” Tommy asked, raising a brow. He then grabbed a box of wormwood, placing them in a mortar and pestle. He crushed the leaves before sprinkling it over the pot, causing it to turn dark red and boil violently. “Hm… Can I borrow some of your blood?”

       "That I'm a sarcastic piece of crap." Eyebrows arch in return and he approaches the kettle Tommy's making his concoction in, giving it a quick look before stepping back again. "Why don't you just use your own blood?"

     ”Well, you’re not helpful…” Tommy rolled his eyes. “But at least you think my head is pretty. I guess that’s enough compensation.” He spun around, taking a jar of mandrakes and tossed them all inside of the boiling pot of whatever it was that he was stewing up.

       "All I'm good for is to throw sarcastic comments your way. I thought you'd have figured that out by now." Waste of resources, that's what Leo thinks Tommy's doing. Then again, it's not his kitchen, so he really couldn't care less. "Don't say I didn't warn you if things go boom."

     "Be back in a sec, then." Setting coffee didn't take long, and Leo was out of the room in the blink of an eye, and only came back when he had a steaming cup of coffee for the lawyer. He placed it down in front of him, on his desk. "There you go. Hope that helps with your investigation... thing."

     Tommy let out a nearly over exaggerated gasp at the man’s suggestion. He leaned in closer towards Leo, a wide smile on his face. “That is a wonderful idea. Do you know where I can get some by any chance? I should add two spoonfuls just for kicks.”

      "Definitely nowhere near that pretty head of yours." Leo shook his head a bit, laughing beneath his breath as he leaned back against the table behind him. "You're an idiot, you know that?" But for some unknown reason, Leo was still around. And he would be for a long time to come.
