All Mirai was going to go and do was run to the post office since her package came while they were still asleep and was just doing that before coming back. She wasn’t going to be gone for long but she could tell that Shibuya had her own definition of long which wasn’t very long at all. “Shibuya... I’m only going to be gone for a few minutes. Just there and back.” Mirai said. Before she couldn’t take another step, she felt Shibuya pull her back in and give her another kiss. This one lasting longer than the peck Mirai gave her not too long ago.

Mirai comes up behind her girlfriend and jumps onto her back and wraps her arms and legs around her girlfriend. "Happy birthday~" She said with a purr as she rubs her cheek on hers as she leaned forward a bit.

Shibuya, while surprised by Mirai jumping on her, was able to take the momentum and weight of the neko springing onto her. She reached down, using her arms to support Mirai’s legs. “Thanks, kitten,” she said, pecking her girlfriend on the cheek.

Mirai purrs happily as she felt the kiss before moving some of Shibuya’s hair to look at her. “Now call me a bad girlfriend but I didn’t get you anything for your birthday so…” Mirai thinks for a moment. “Name something you want and it’s yours but don’t make it too expensive.” 

Shibuya glanced at Mirai, cocking her lips to the side. It doesn’t quite look as cute on her- the expression was definitely more the neko’s thing. “Oh yeah- a bad girlfriend, and a bad kitten,” she teased. “Hmm…well, I wanna walk into the most upscale clothing store we can find and get me a dress that kicks ass. Didn’t you say you were going to buy me more dresses?”

Mirai rolled her eyes a bit as she hops off of Shibiya’s back and stands beside her now. “I should’ve seen that tease coming my way.” Mirai said. She think about it and does remember saying that. “I do recall saying that. But does it have to be the most upscale place? You gotta remember that the money I have is mostly the money you earned.”

Mirai puffs her cheeks. “I didn’t say now I was just saying that’s what we can do but don’t have too.” Mirai looks at her in the kitchen as she looks at the little bit of snapper. “Mmm… I should go and get some more then. That way we don’t have to do that tomorrow.” She blinks. “Oh! Can we go to the beach and swim?” Mirai asked as she knew the water would be cold for Shibuya but nice for her. 

“Well, you did ask me to spoil you,” she mused. Closing the fridge, Shibuya turned around and rested against the kitchen counter. “I mean, it’s not like it’s a big deal…” She paused at Mirai’s suggestion. 

“…honestly, a beach trip doesn’t sound too bad,” she said, nodding a bit in agreement.

Mirai gets up and stretches her arms up. “Then lets pack up and go do that. I have a bikini in the bedroom and we just need to pack stuff and head out.” Mirai said as she was excited about this since she loved going out in this weather that isn’t too hot.

The mental image of Mirai in said bikini came to Shibuya’s mind, and she smirked. Oh, yeah. Today was going to be a good day. 

She followed her girlfriend back to the bedroom, going over to her wardrobe and rummaging through the drawers. She knew she had some bikinis of her own, where the hell had they gotten off to? 

“Mirai?” She asked. “Have you seen any of my swimwear?”

Mirai looks over and tilts her head. “Didn’t you put it in the bin with all of the other summer clothes we have?” Mirai asked. She knew that she thinks she has seen it with her summer hat that Shibuya got her when they first met but she wasn’t the one who moved the box after it was filled. 

“You know what...” Mirai mumbles and instead goes to the closet, and pulls out her suitcase. “Lets go out for a weekend beach get away. Two days... Just the two of us having fun, Shibuya.” 

A grin shows on Mirai’s face as she was happy that this was coming together.

“Fish, huh? I could probably do that,” Shibuya remarked, kissing Mirai back. “Well, I dunno if I’m in the mood for that right now…” She let go, moving to the kitchen and checking the fridge. “…we’ve got a little bit of red snapper left, but that’s about it in terms of fish meat.”

“Maybe tomorrow. Just not today. You just chose the wrong time to ask that.” Mirai tells her as she stretches her arms and legs out as she could feel the sun hit her from the open window. “Too comfy to move right now….”

“Lazy cat,” Shibuya teased, reaching up to rub between Mirai’s ears. “What am I going to do with you, huh?” She asked.

“Well, guess I’ll do just that, then.” Shibuya squeezed Mirai, “I’m just surprised you don’t wanna go out, or something. I figured you’d want to see all the flowers in bloom or something like that.”

Shibuya rested her head on Mirai’s shoulder, just enjoying her company. “How are you doing today, angel?” She asked, letting out a content sigh.

“Better now that you’re here beside me, Shibuya.” Mirai tells her as she leans her head against Shibuya’s a bit as she closes her eyes,

Shibuya softly laughed, kissing Mirai’s cheek. “I could say the same to you,” she mused. “Feel like doing anything today?”
