So, I’m here looking up Conspiracy Theories about Infinity War part 2 and I see people freaking out and I freak out, but at the same time I am calm, because I have this reaaaally solid one.

[Major spoilers] maybe I should mention that.

Here it goes.

It all revolves around this article I came across. It was a list of Marvel’s most powerful mutants. Ok, I know what you’re thinking. It actually DOES not have anything to do with the Avengers, however, number one was this guy Matthew Malloy. I know, who the hell is this guy? Here you go: “When discovered, he was said to be the most powerful Mutant signature Cerebro ever recorded. Matt had a hard beginning. His wife was killed in front of him by a Skrull invader during the Secret Invasion. After he went to live with his sister, his powers activated, and he annihilated everything around him. SHIELD dispatched a drone to see what was up with him, but he started getting agitated. Cyclops and Magik arrived to recruit him into the X-Men, but a SHIELD airstrike killed all three of them.Matt reconstituted himself at the Jean Grey School, where he reacted to Emma Frost’s attempts to calm him down by killing her. To stop his rampage, Tempus used her abilities to travel back in time. She prevented Matthew’s parents from meeting, and erased him from existence. And that’s what puts Matthew at Number One. Not his energy output that can level countries, not his reality and space-warping immortality, not his infinite telepathy, but the fact that he’s the only Mutant so powerful that he couldn’t be allowed to exist.“

I mean, he’s not a mutant, but Thanos did become too powerful to be stopped so the only way to stop him was to prevent that from happening. Either by preventing him being born - which I believe is rather unlikely, since that would cause the Guardians of the Galaxy to never have met, the Avengers from existing since Thor and Loki would have never been on Earth.

Now, remember how in the movie Dr. Strange first tells Tony that if he had to choose between him, Peter or the Time Stone, he would protect the Time Stone at any price? Then he goes and looks at every possible outcome in the future and answers that from the 14.000.000 possible outcomes, they only win in one. That is before fighting Thanos and saving Tony in the last minute by giving up the very thing he swore to protect at any price, only to say in the end, right before dying “it was the only way”.

So now, Tony and Bruce are some of the smartest people there are. And then, there’s Shuri that has fled the laboratory in Wakanda with the replica she’d began making of the Mind Stone. What if from there they are able to recreate other Infinity Stones?

My theory is Time Travel and it is backed up by the photos on the sets of Infinity War part II of Captain America and Thor in their first Avengers suits. I mean, that was the moment when Loki came to Earth with the Tessaract. What if they stopped Thanos right then - before he began seeking the stones and becoming invincible?

I think it adds up, but I guess we’ll see. In the meantime I will still be pissed that the deaths of some of my favorite characters were all followed by really good jokes and I did not get to mourn peacefully.

Renungan Paskah; Pas, kah?

Aku tidak ingin ke gereja menjadi sebuah rutinitas,

apa bedanya nanti dengan masturbasi?

Aku ingin di gereja bisa berbincang dengan lugas,

seringkali aku bingung, kenapa gereja begitu banyak regulasi?

Bukannya aku tak ingin diberi batas,

aku hanya ingin bercengkerama dengan Sang Ilahi,

yang mengajariku berpikiran luas,

yang mengajariku untuk saling mengasihi,

yang mengajariku untuk tidak asal tindas,

karena Dia menurutku adalah sosok yang jauh dari mainstream di lingkungan-Nya,

ketika orang bermusuhan dengan pelacur,

dia menjadi kawan yang gagah,

jika aku menjadi pelacur,

aku pasti jatuh cinta padanya

atau memang aku seorang pelacur?

Nampak masih relevan dengan dunia sekarang ini,

lebih mudah menyaksikan orang-orang berkoar,

daripada melihat orang-orang dengan aksi yang bersinar.

Mungkin ini salah televisi masa kini,

yang mempertontonkan banyak asumsi.

Semoga makin banyak, acara seperti kick andy.

Ah, dari gereja kenapa bisa sampai ke kick andy?

Ya sudahlah,

hari ini hari besar,

follower Kristus seharusnya merasa ditampar.

Apa yang sudah kita lakukan?

Apa yang sudah kita janjikan?

Apa yang sudah kita bicarakan?

Apa yang sudah kita pikirkan?

Dia memberi bukti,

pemimpin itu pelayan,

pelayan yang sakti.

Sementara aku masih terjebak di sini,

sibuk melayani diri sendiri.

Sepertinya sudah saatnya,

memimpin diri sendiri,

melayani mereka.

Mungkin itu esensi Paskah,

menjadikan hidup masing-masing lebih pas.

Pas dengan diri sendiri;

pas dengan makhluk sekitar;

pas dengan alam semesta.

Apakah kita sudah pas?
