You know, Dipper technically draws quite realistic. I've seen it be pointed out before...
But Mabel made a sculpture that was realistic (despite the glitter) and her drawing style is a bit more her age.
This makes me think that- yeah, Ford draws really well, all drama and realism but Stan, like Mabel, can sculpt something realistic (and maybe stylistic like her glitter additions)
Stanley likes taxidermy but imagine he needs a certain part to complete something? You look at a paw of an animal (glued to another animal) and think its real but nope! That one paw is fake because Stan used the actual paw for something else and forgot he would need it.
Stan doesnt put a lot of effort into things he shows in the tours. Its all glue and bad stitching, hed much rather spend time fixing and trying to figure out the portal. Its not like these tourists care anyway, they just want something wacky to see, its not art. He doesnt have to try. Just like he didnt have to try in sales, just had to trick them enough...
Trying isnt worth it. He would just get compared or told he's dumb, that his attempts are useless.
But sometimes, when hes lonely and lost he carves some small wood slabs. Sometimes, he finds some good mud to use as clay and likes to feel the texture of it. Sometimes he makes something small enough to hide in his little box of shame- because of course its a Box Of Shame, he was playing when he should be bringing his brother back.
Stanford returns. Stan has more time in his hands. He doesnt know what to do.
He sculpts something bigger, in the middle of the woods since he cant hide in the basement. He carves trees to have sculptures living in them, he takes skme spare wood from Wendy's family to carry around as he sits alone with his thoughts.
Then, he sees and rock and thinks- "I'm gonna try carve that next"
Meanwhile, Mabel finds these random art pieces in gravity falls and loves them, takes inspiration for them (paints them) and tells Dipper. Dipper wants to solve this new mystery and with the author kf the journals, he thinks they can get down to the bottom of this.
“Already tired of trying to recall when it all fell apart…I just want to love you well…I just want to learn how to somehow, to be loved myself - Sleeping At Last

Clark watched Bruce warily as he experimented with the string between them. Bruce had long ignored the red string of fate that connected them, but he could no longer avoid it after Clark had used it to stop him from storming out of a heated argument. Although only Bruce could see the string, Clark always felt its undeniable presence.
Recently, Bruce had begun to find practical uses for their bond. He usually used it as a communicator, tugging at the string whenever he needed Superman’s assistance.
Despite their growing reliance on this bond, neither really talked about the emotional weight of their connection. Bruce never initiated the conversation, and Clark hesitated to push the subject, especially when Bruce had only recently acknowledged the string's existence.
Clark had always assumed that Bruce saw their bond as more of an inconvenience until one day, Clark suddenly found himself able to see their string.
To his shock, it wasn’t the red he had expected—it was black. Traditionally, red strings of fate would turn black when a relationship was filled with rage and contempt. Bruce had been distancing himself because he thought Clark harbored resentment toward him.
But as Clark examined the string more closely, he realized something Bruce hadn’t seen. Their string wasn’t truly black—it was the deepest shade of red, signifying a mutual love that had matured and strengthened over time. Its color was so saturated that it appeared black to the naked eye.
What Bruce mistook for hatred was, in fact, a love so strong that its depth had been misinterpreted.

I think they should fuck nasty instead
I cannot be the only one that believes with my entire heart that Bruce likes to talk to the bats in his cave, right?
Like before he had any of his Robins and Alfred had retired to sleep and left him with a now cold mug of coffee, he surely must have just looked up, half-delirious from sleep deprivation, and just started explaining the new angle he managed to find in his current case?
They don't really respond, but it's definitely better to speak at something rather than stare at the blinding screen before him all night long.
Knowing him, he's probably befriended some of the bats and considers them close confidants.
the dumbest thing I've done
this is based on the fact bruce used to talk in disgustingly cursive handwriting mixed with weird slang used in gothic horror movies in some older comics before some writers changed it because pretty much no one knew what the fuck he was talking about
