I was actually planning on how would that scenario could possibly happen actually :)
I am SO rooting for Ciel to be more integrated after his Blader Z trauma than end up as another Jaxon Cross personality that blades for fun
Like he acknowledges the Blader Z was him once, the journey that he took to be himself again, and the history between Khrome and Ciel. Piecing it together to become a whole human being (Ciel).
Similar to the symbolism of the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where you glue the pieces with gold lacquer to highlight the cracks which becomes even more valuable.
Terms i might use here lolz:
Transcendence - The belief that a higher power is completely separate, distinct, and wholly "other" from the physical universe.
Immanence - The belief that the divine permeates, surrounds, and is fully present within the material world.
Integration - The process of combining separate parts, systems, or concepts into a single, unified whole.
(Let's apply said higher power as strength in Beyblading. Also look at the colors *hint hint* :D)
Another post by Not-kamenX! This section I made is more of a summary, but still i suggest reading the post
We already can tell Jaxon is VERY detached when it comes to beyblade, he doesn't really care about victory, fame, or hardwork (even those who suffer in the process), he just chases the pleasure in beybattles and defeating strong opponents.
His nature is that strong to the point he's perceived as inhumane, abnormal, or a monster. He's too strong they see him as not from this world.
This ultimately led to Khrome's obsession and domino effect in the process of Ciel getting his identity shattered
Look at the terms i had before, Jaxon could symbolize Transcendence. Jaxon's an ever-running deity always above others that Khrome can't fully reach.
Where do I put Ciel into this?
Instead of being like Jaxon (and Robin), just blading for fun. I wanted him to embrace that trauma he had (in a good way!)
I wanted him to accept both that the King of Amateurs and Blader Z are both Ciel, and are both necessary to build his own identity, instead of blindly copying someone else.
Ciel can still view Khrome as an idol this way, but he'll have to use that motivation both for himself and for Khrome but by using his own terms.
Also i noticed that Quinn might also used this in Episode 54: Path of Resolve
"Try and think back, what did the Amateur Ciel Kaminari had his sights set on?" - Quinn Manju, Episode 54: Path of Resolve.
At the time Ciel was devastated when Khrome left, he is still clinging to Khrome. Quinn gave him advice by letting him remember his Amateur days, before all that Blader Z stuff.
I wanna take it even further, because still even as an Amateur his goal was to be like Khrome. He'll have to integrate: acknowledge the suffering he went through, build his own identity, and blade in his own terms.
Ciel can symbolize Immanence, he is strong not because he's a monster or inhumane like Jaxon, but because he is a unified human, because of both the pride of the King of Amateurs and the suffering of Blader Z.
Let's get into the main point.
If Jaxon becomes an antagonist, how would that happen?
I wanna get everyone in Persona and Pendragon involved.
First, probably let the Nana-iro sisters suspect Jaxon's behavior. Like say Multi observing Jaxon acting a bit too much and tells Sigrid. Sigrid, being blunt and intuitive she is, tells Multi about Jaxon's time in Pendragon, about his inhumane nature. Telling her she needs to be careful.
For the turning point, have Ciel finish his arc first, let him become immanent and strong, let him have his own blading style.
The real immersion is when Khrome and Ciel battle ending in Ciel finally winning (yay!), then it also ends in Khrome getting snapped back into reality, that Khrome copied Jaxon and losing his humanity for nothing, that he was chasing a vision of Jaxon. That shatters his philosophy and obsession with Jaxon. Khrome finally being free.
But for Jaxon, always chasing the high of beybattles. Khrome was the strongest in his mind. He'll start pressuring Khrome for battles, Khrome would still agree tho. But it just doesn't feel the same to him, and that's the start of Jaxon's antagonism. In my opinion.
Now this text is getting incredibly long, and still this is only my idea of the post, i am not trying to claim the original post as my own, as i am only inspired, but still i hope you had read the original posts before reading this.
