Kael arrived at his mansion, he expected to be alone but great was his surprise when he could hear his little sister was in her room. He went upstairs to it and leaned against the door “Everything okay, Princess?” He asked in a gentle tone, crossing his arms.

A small smile appeared on her face. Val and Demetri were closer than any of her other siblings, however, Kael was someone she could tell all her problems to. “Yeah, I’m fine — just really bored tonight. I had planned on staying home tonight… unless you really want to be alone?”

He walked inside the room and sat down on her bed "What would you like to do? I know you prefer dear Demetri but we could do something together" He said with a shrug and a soft smile.

He hardly went out to clubs or pubs these days, that was more Dimitri and Val’s scene but tonight was different, he needed a breather and this was the perfect one. What he didn’t expected was a gorgeous redhead to sit next to him and ask him to act like he knew her “Yes of course, which one?” He asked, looking around while wrapping an arm around her.

A smile had curled on to her lips as she lifted a manicured nail to point out the man in question. “ That one over there. “ she replied with a frown. She shifted closer to him, laying her head on to his chest, innocently. “ Why, were you planning on being my knight in shining armor for the evening? “ She flirted, playfully batting her eyelashes up at him.

He looked over at the man and nodded "Something like that" He said, taking her hand and kissing it before going over to the man using his superhuman speed and biting him before breaking his neck "Ugh, disgusting" He made a face before going back to the redhead "And do you have a name, dear?" He asked, smiling charmingly while cleaning the blood from his chin.

the chatter around her had subsequently died down, making the girl chuckle. she loved a good bar fight, i mean how foolish could a human be squaring up to a werewolf ? the blonde quickly asked the bartender for another shot of vodka, downing it before they had even set the glass on the bar top. the vampire looked to her right and saw a few droplets of the humans blood along the wooden counter. shaking her head, she let out a small laugh - dipping her finger in the blood and bringing it to her lips. “ i mean, how could you be that idiotic ? “ she muttered under her breath after she had licked the small drops of blood from her finger.

taking a sip of her drink, she smiled at the man before her. “well that is a shock” she admitted with a laugh, shaking her head. “maybe a little bit of both” the blonde teased before continuing “i just moved here, finally decided to stay in one spot for awhile.” she was honestly finding it hard to believe he was here in front of her after all these years. “the real question is what does hollowcrest have to offer for mr kael vandyke?” she asked with a smirk, looking up at him while she sipped the drink in front of her.

He let out a bitter chuckle at that "Next time I see you you'll be telling me you got a mate or something" He said trying to sound humored by the idea. He finished hia drink and shrugged "Safety, that's what it offers me and my family"

“you’re telling me you aren’t just some dramatic emo kid going through a bad phase?” alex gasped sarcastically, “wow, i’m fucking shocked. honestly i thought you were just trying to be edgy this whole time.” was it a bad idea for alex to be provoking a vampire when he apparently couldn’t even light a candle without disaster? definitely. he knew that, somewhere under the layers and layers of stupidity and stubbornness. apparently, he just didn’t care. “just because you’re some big bad vampire with a thousand years under your belt doesn’t mean you’re the law.”

“Mm,” Bianca hummed in response, “Every witch has untapped potential. It’s just whether or not they’re willing to learn,” She mused thoughtfully, plucking her grimoire from out of the small alter box. Thumbing through it, she nodded along to his explanation. “What kind of protection? Do you want to make yourself and your siblings untraceable? Or I could charm your house so only people with pure intent can get in. Or I could do my best to banish away any negative intentions- but that one is iffy, as it’s not the right lunar phase right now.”

He nodded at her words and started passing aroung the shop "I want you to make us untreceable, don't do anything to the people that are after us, I don't wsnt you to expose yourself" He said with a serious voice.

Kael wanted to have a moment for himself and the bar seemed to be the perfect place, he sat down on the bar and asked for a bourbon without ice, and in the blink of an eye a fight broke between a werewolf and a human, he rolled his eyes at the human’s stupidity and was about to comment on it whe he heard that familiar and sweet voice “Well…..if it isn’t a small world, my dear” He said, turning around to face her.

calling another drink, the blonde decided to nurse it. modern day living was odd, having humans know about the supernatural was odd. losing herself in her own thoughts; she was quickly pulled from them at the sound of a very familiar voice. looking up from the strong drunk in front of her, her eyes glance upon kael. she never thought she would see him again. “kael..” her voice trailed off, as she turned to face him. taking a deep breath, she couldn’t help but smile. “what on earth are you doing here?” she asked with a laugh, she could never picture him in a small town. he was always destined for bigger and better things.

"Well love....I live here" he said with a smile, if he was hinest with himself he was happy to see her, after all this time. "I've been here for two years now" He took a sip from his drink "And you? Business? Pleasure?" He asked the last thing with a glint in his eyes and a smirk.

Still, with the amount of negativity Bianca knew Alex carried on him at all times, it wouldn’t surprise her if his curses did yield some unpleasant results. “Cut him some slack, please Kael. He has no idea what he’s doing and he’s too stubborn to learn. I’m doing my best.” At his comment, she practically bowed, “I aim to please,” She sang, picking up a small wooden wand from inside the box. “So, what is it this time? Need a hex broken? Protection spell? Strength?”

“You may think you’re immune, but the energies affect you too,” Bianca snorted, raising her hand to her nose to hide the ungraceful noise. She moved around the small, overgrown shop, digging out her portable alter box from behind the counter. “You still have an aura, even if you’re technically dead. If I were to feed you negative energies through, lets say, a negative sigil or a curse, you would still feel the effects. So if I were you, I wouldn’t come anywhere near my blood.” Opening the box, she leaned against the counter, facing him once more. “You always need a favour.”

Ella was hardly a stranger to the nightlife scene, in fact it was probably where she felt the most comfortable. That didn’t mean she was immune to the occasional pushy starnger that seemed to be everywhere. The red head had come across a man who couldn’t seem to take a hint and was close to getting a smack across the face. Ella had quickly shifted across the bar and took a seat beside someone without even looking at who they were. Tucking a red curl behind her ear, she desperately tried not to make eye contact with the man in hope he wouldn’t notice her. “ Pretend that you know me… just for a second? “ Ella requested quietly to the other beside her. “ That creep over there seems fairly convinced he’s going to get lucky tonight. “

“Bianca, my love!” He said with a smile while walking towards the young witch “How have you been? Are you busy right now or does your plants still need a but more of love?” He asked with an amused smirk, he will never understand witches’ love for plants and all that stuff.

She perked up a bit as she recognized the familiar face, grasping her hands behind her back. “Oh, um,” When her strange habits were pointed out, Bianca became flustered, her arms motioning wildly to the area around her. “No, no, they’re fine. It’s just that the more positive energy you give them, the better they grow. It’s the same thing with people,” She explained. Bianca then turned towards him. “The more positive energy you feed a person, the happier they become. But that’s irrelevant. What can I help you with Kael?”

alex had half the thought to mimic the significantly more intimidating vampire, but he chose not too, instead raising his eyebrows. “the part that’s destroyed, yeah,” he raised his hand to gesture to a handful of charred bushes. “but if you follow it to the source, i was in your neighbours yard. plus, why do you care? don’t you have babies to be murdering, or something?”

With eyes closed, Bianca was sat in the middle of her flower shop, doing her best to channel positivity into her plants. She’d come to learn that if she charged them with kind energy, they grew much fuller and more colourful, and the aura of her store felt all the much softer. So focused on her taste at hand, she failed to notice the patron in her store until Cypress let out a soft meow to alert her. Eyes flying open, she jumped to her feet, “Oh, sorry!” She hummed rather shyly, “I wasn’t expecting anyone this early. What can I help you with?”
