This is simply beautiful! š
Our belief about being in a romantic relationship often leads us into intimate relationships that arenāt fruitful because our beliefs are self-serving, not selfless and if the other doesnāt live up to your expectations, youāre crushed and in being crushed you reveal that your love wasnāt love, it was need. It was, āI love you, do you love me?ā What youāre saying is, āSay it back or Iāll be crushed.ā āI love you for me.ā Love only ever says, āI love you.ā
God never put any one human being on the earth to satisfy your needs. They were made for His image and His fullness, so seeing yourself apart from Him is reducing yourself to needing something thatāll never satisfy youāneeding relationships (or friendships) that break you because itās still about you and not Him in you.

Our desire as Christians should not be to please people (Galatians 1:10), but to run the race to please God: āMy eyes are fixed on you, O Lord, ā(Psalm 141:8). And Jesus Christ watches our every move and knows our every thought.
Just lay it down; whatever guilt, shame, sorrow, or sin you carry, just lay it down and follow Christ.

Your attitude will answer that. We will know by your patience or anxiety and by your obedience or your rebellion.

Godās strength is perfect in your weakness, you have to depend on Him if you want to grow or overcome anything.
You know that little secret sin that nobody else knows about? Yeah, God wants you to let it go. Itās only so far you can go without making a choice, itās either Jesus or your flesh. Choose.
Good morning! God is going to restore someoneās peace today ā¤ļø
Godās pretty much letting me know how easy it is if youāre not careful to be negative about every little thing when it is all unnecessary. He keeps every person who trusts in Him by keeping his mind on Him in perfect peace. There is nothing to be afraid of or to worry about.
The meaning of prayer is that we get hold of God, not of the answer.

If you love Jesus some people wonāt like you just because your life is different and it challenges theirs. Doesnāt have anything to do with you. But if you need to be loved and liked, youāll take it personal and miss the heart of God.
Year of Loneliness
I live in a 2-bedroom apartment with a wonderful friend that puts up with my weirdness and respects my beliefs. I have lots of friends in my life who I see on a daily basis and even some I get to enjoy outside our workplace. My parents live across town and I speak to my other set of parents at least once a week, Iāve even gotten to see all of most of my siblings more than once within the past 2 months. The point of this being: I am not alone. My day is filled with faces that I love and am blessed to be around.
But it wasnāt like that this time last year.
I lived alone. I only saw a few people outside of work. I would try to see my parents as often as possible but it still wasnāt as frequent as it is now. Now many of you may have turned your emotional setting to pity after reading that but I implore you to hold off on that. Because looking back that year I spent alone in my ridiculously expensive 1-bedroom apartment was one of the best. In that year I felt so close to God and so near to His heart that every day, no matter how hard, had hope. The year was still a ānormalā one, donāt get me wrong, I had really great days and really suck days the same that I do now; but back then I felt so near to God because I had no one else to be near to. Ā Thatās an amazing feeling!
And no Iām not saying that being around people is bad or that itās damaged my relationship with God in anyway at all. Weāve simply moved on to a point in this walk where I get to be an example of Godās love for people, He is still with me always and Iām still learning of course. There are nights where I miss the balcony I would sit on where I would talk to God all alone. Yet He reminds me in those moments of yearning that He is still just as close to my heart regardless of how I feel.
The reason I felt the need to post this is because I see so many of my beloved brothers and sisters talk about how lonely they are, how they feel isolated, and they feel like there isnāt anyone out there for them. My friends, I know itās hard, trust me those suck days I mentioned were like super suck; but I can also tell you with confidence that those moments can be the best moments in your life for your walk with God. It might take time and you might feel silly at first but genuinely I want you to try and just talk to Him in those moments where youāre all alone. Just talk. About your day. About your plans. About the things youāre afraid of. About the things you are excited for. About how lonely you feel. Despite the moments of pain along the way, I can say with confidence that my āyear of lonelinessā was one of the most amazing and impactful years of my life. I am so grateful to God for that time we spent together and Iām eternally grateful that He is still with me and has blessed me through the season to this one.
Hang in there, my dear friends. The seasons of loneliness arenāt nearly as lonely as you think because youāre never truly alone.

Your love for me isnāt contingent upon my love for you, because real love doesnāt need to be loved back.
