It’s been extremely cold recently, however it is nice to see some daylight past the dreaded 4pm mark. A positive sign that we are indeed, afterall, headed to the right direction. 

Work has been extremely busy as usual, although the new rota has not been as bad as I’d expected. Four sets of week-long breaks are to be expected in the next six months. The tiny gears in my head are already in full motion in anticipation for how I will be filling those times! It now feels like 29 years since I’ve been on a holiday, although my bank account is looking rather comfortable if you know what I mean. I have been trying to save up for a flat to purchase, and let me tell you it is a dog-eat-dog world out there! One minute you view a property next thing you know it’s off the market. Everyone’s a snake I guess when it comes to this game.
